  1. I really like this raid, these bosses (mustadio & agrias) are actually your friends that test you if you're able enough to face the true bad guy. the musics & dialogues're so cool.

  2. Oh son of a bitch I’ve just realized how that mechanic works, having died to it every time.

I had the most unhelpful group lmao. Actually considering on the second to last boss one third of the team didn’t know what they were doing and wiped it shouldn’t be surprising.

  3. Typical FF unintuitive mechanics. Expose the only part of your body that doesn’t appear to be shielded to the sniper rifle.

Not much you can do with this stuff until someone tells you. Then chat act that they’re cleverer than you because they did it ten times before.

  4. I think if I remember correctly, my first time I got lucky and guessed that I was supposed to aim the gap towards the enemy. I was like, I’m either right and I’ll avoid damage, or I’m wrong and who knows.

I can’t remember exactly, but I think I thought that, oh sniper means they’re aiming at something. Maybe the gap is that thing I should point towards the boss? Let’s see if that works. And well, I was surprised it was right.

I don’t think this mechanic has ever killed me to this day. Prob just one of those I do well with. Some mechanics though, especially in EX or Savage, I suck at.

Or even one in Smileton of all things with the statues that shoot lasers but then will flip upside down. It’s like I think I understand it, but then I keep getting hit and dying. Maybe these flipping statues are my sniper rifle mechanic.

  5. this mech still stupid for me for first timers.
Who the fuck is going to think a open hole in a circle is your "safe zone" against a sniper? you are literally showing him THE ONLY OPEN PLACE he can shoot.

  6. The first time I saw that I was like OK I got a shield. Cool. It's only got one side with a hole so let's put the hole on the other side of me so I won't get hit. To this day I still don't know why you put the hole towards him.

  7. To be honest, i will never get why it is the gap one has to face to him? It feels like: this is my weak point, shoot at it! Instead of: well, this side is shielded, come at me bro!

Still, i also remeber how hard it was to get into those lvl 70 raids, since no one wanted to do it and still up to this day, i see party-members drop the moment they see "rabanastre" or "orbonne" on the screen… and for a while i was with them. Nowadays, i'll do those any day rather than one paradigm breach. Those automata-raids are stylish as hell but… good lord the amount of mechanics that are thrown out in rapid-fire mode.

  8. ah yes the 1 mechanic in that instance that without fail kills at least 1 player. Don't worry, I am sure majority of us if not everyone has died to that part at least once in their life.

  9. #1 favorite boss in the game. The boss, the VA, the music, the mechanics, all get me so hyped every time. Every boss in Orbonne rocks, especially Mustadio and TG Cid. Haven't even played Tactics lol but this series had me thinking about trying it out

  10. Stupid mechanic. Anyone in their right mind would think the 3 part is the shield and that opening is what you need to protect. Here it is in reverse. That is why most people fails to understand it. It even says that he seeks the opening which is exactly that 1 open part you logically would shield
