  1. Actually there is a mod in progress where you can play Warcraft 3 campaign truly reforged in Starcraft 2. It is made by Synergy and you might want to check it out 😀

  2. I’m the same as Preach I’m in love with my character. I’ve fantasia a few times to different races or even just different hairstyles and in a day or two I’m like it’s Not my character and I go back

  3. This was such a joy to watch, I love seeing two of my favorite channels just shooting the shit and explaining their experiences with both FF14 and other MMO’s. It’s just really chill.

  4. The first time i tried to watch preach play through ff i just remember him yelling "FUCK YOU RAUBAHN!" and just being a pos to all the characters. Glad he still plays and enjoys the game but after that I'm not watching him again.

  5. Been an FF fan nearly all my life (starting with the release of FFX) and grew up where everyone called it trash (because it wasn't COD or Fifa)
    – I gotta say, the wow community enjoying FF14, then playing the single player games was a game changer.
I felt so comfortable as an FF gamer that it helped me create videos about the games I loved.
Many people were inspirations for me, and Mike / Preach was one of them.
    Much love ❤🎉

  6. Synodic Scribe here on YouTube is pretty good for FFXIV lore content if you like a nice, relaxed vibe. It’s not as bombastic as WoW maybe? But it is still interesting and mostly comes from the game it seems.

  7. With ff14 I was getting slightly burned out and then I was like…you know I’ve never tried chocobo racing and breeding. And now I’ve been obsessed and training my chocobo for several hours a day for like the past couple of weeks to get the best pedigree possible and MGP farm. It’s been so fun.

  8. As someone with far too many hours working conventions, people don't realize how much work it can be. I've run one as an organizer, been a vendor for years and over a decade as security.

  9. This was such a pleasure to watch. Thank you! I've been watching Preach for several years and GG since you started your FF adventure. I enjoy the hell out of the content produced by both channels, so it was a real treat to listen to the three of you talk. Like the content you usually produced, it was funny, interesting, and so blessedly based.

  10. You guys have one positive trait that helps balance out the FF14 streaming A LOT: You are a duo.

I can't stress how important this is, because you are a really sync'd duo as far as community managing and gaming in general goes. Your opposing views about the game really helps to keep the entertainment at peak (Kyle is honestly hilarious, the dude just sees things differently all the time and it's such a joy to watch, while Garret represents the audience's opinion most of the time).

If you two take care of the van and keep shouldering eachother, it's less likely that you will feel pressured by the immense crowd that can be the FF14 community and in turn, the streams and videos will be much more enjoyable.

I hope y'all do enjoy the ride, now and always ^^

  11. I was SO wrong about what was going on in the ShadowBringers trailer.
At that point in time I had not played the Coils of Bahamut so I didn't know what had happened to Louisoix.
So when I saw Urianger calling Y'Shtola Master Matoya and Y'Shtola said "Until our friend returns, we will hold the line", my mind made some strange leaps of logic.
I knew the WoL would travel to another world so I thought Y'Shtola was saying that the WoL was gone from Eorzea and some serious stuff was going down, and they had to hold on until the WoL found a way back.
And I knew both Urianger and Y'Shtola had been soul snatched, so their bodies were like free real estate. And in the trailer they both seemed very different from their usual selves.
So I thought Matoya and Louisoix transferred their souls into Y'Shtola and Urianger and used their bodies to fight whatever was happening in Eorzea while he WoL was gone.

As it turns out, that is not what happened.
    lol

  12. Definitely still find alts very annoying on FFxiv. As someone that ties what their characters can do with their abilities to them much the same as how they look, being able to just do everything on one character bothers me, so I have two characters in 14 in order to play multiple jobs that can fit either of them, and man, 14 does absolutely nothing to help alts. lol I get it, "Oh, it doesn't matter because you don't need an alt," but this supposes that "need" is purely about being able to play all classes, as if you "need" to have 13 characters in WoW in order to play all 39 specs in WoW. You don't need to be able to play all classes, just like you don't need to tie your character to their abilities. I've always RPed the same two characters in every MMO, and FFxiv makes me go through the MSQ twice while sharing nothing between them and that kind of pisses me off. lol

  14. 1:29:00 topic about viewers returning/leaving/retention
I feel especially grateful that my gen z attention span actually afforded me a chance to watch all your content in a more long-form style, rather than these 'MSQ-binges' that a lot of viewers go on for a certain streamer.
You guys clearly want to get the most out of 14 and in doing so have pushed me to try out things like Dark Knight, Ivalice and Bozja.
In doing so you've also let people like me who stick around actually see how YOU make your content and shape it to be your own thing. The podcasts, weekly videos and other non-14 streams prove that.
there are very few content creators that make a full time living out of solely 14, and those that are lucky enough gather enough viewers from 14 to pivot to other games and content.
you guys have 100% taken the healthy and longevite route in your content style and creation. definitely taking notes here and keep up the good work!

Sadly this was Asmongold's issue, he would tell people he was playing FFXIV MSQ, folks would show up and he would drag the stream on for 7 hours with react content and then tell people that he isn't playing XIV today. He'd do this constantly and when people told him to fuck off, he played the victim and acted like FFXIV fans were pushing him to play the game when he didn't want to. Dude needs to stop lying to people, most of his XIV fans left.
