  1. I really hope the devs have something in the wings for bringing MCH up to par. I love MCH, it's class fantasy is what I love for my character and playing it feels super cool but having such lackluster damage has had me swap out to NIN.

  2. They will buff MCH. It is easier to do tank balancing due to the gear being shared between the 4 tanks. You can clearly see where things are going wrong more easier with the tanks.

    I do feel like MCH just needs to go to the top of the P-Ranged DPS as far as Damage goes, due to very little party utility it is giving.

    Give SE time to fix it. Im sure it will come thru

  3. since were throwing out crazy mch ideas, so you know how in bozja the enemies in there are kinda mech based, do what they did with smn, give mch the ability to "build" different robots, so they can build a pawn, rook, queen, and they do different damage/things while they are out, sort of like titan/bahamet/garuda etc, really lean into the mechanic/tinkerer aspect of the job, cause I can tell you right now current iteration of mch aint it

  4. I really don't understand SE logic with MCH. It does next to no damage, has no party utilities, gameplay is brain dead… They need to have a complete rework of this job, right now there is no reason to play it even in normal easy content.

  6. very seriously P8S first phase has that one mechanic that if randomly pop up first would likely tighten the enrage timer and make some team composition wipe to enrage… I feel generally blessed upon knowing that we don't have to follow meta team comp to clear it anymore (it was like 0.5% enrage almost every time that phase randomly come up first.

  7. While I understand PLD and WAR needing a little bump, it baffles me that MCH got no buffs.
    Also, what a lot of people seem to overlook at the moment, is that casters are comically weak. SMN and RDM are outperformed by DNC. That’s kinda unheard of. And BLM is way stronger than both, but still below almost all the melees.
    Why in the world is it justifiable, that in a state where melee uptime is a key part of fight design, they still get to have the most dmg? If anything melees currently have the easiest time compared to casters and phys ranged, so I see absolutely no reason why they hold on to the notion that range tax has to be a thing. Or even worse utility tax. It doesn’t really matter if you have a heal or a Rez on a tank or caster, because the party is already at a disadvantage when you have to use those things. P8s for example is so tightly tuned, that having to Rez someone twice could already mean you fail the dps Check.

  8. People need to remember that the whole one week delay for savage is still experimental for the team, of course it's not going to be perfect and adjustments will be made. How likely were they to forsee the internal team getting too good?
    My copium crazy theory now though is that drg and ast was delayed in reality due to them having to prioritise mch and they're realising it's going to be more than some number buffs.

  9. i've completely thrown the towel in on MCH, a class that has been my main since the rework. I have since been tempered by Garuda and am a SMN 1 trick with a pocket WAR for solo farming content. Also, MAKE WILDFIRE A REAL 2 MINUTE COOLDOWN. 30k damage every 2 minutes with a gimmick attached and it can't even crit or dh? absolute horsecrap, garbage button.

  10. People need to remember that RDPS doesn't matter it's not an accurate graph. If you're going off of the RDPS graph you might as well say astros do 10k dps because they gave a SAM a card buff.
    MCH does need a little bit of work with just potency boosts and changing how the queen works back to the way it was.

  11. Tbh not only mch needs buffs. Also rdm and smn and blm need buffs. Warriors and paladins got excluded in pf, thats why they got buffed…. but rdms and mchs also got excluded in pf and no one is talking about that
