SUCH AN EXCITING CHANGE also a brand new savage raid tier, MORE GLAMOUR DRESSER SPACE, repairing friends gear IN DUNGEONS AND RAIDS, brand new crafter items, and just so so much more.
Patch 6.2 is hard to not fangirl over Patch 6.2 in Final Fantasy XIV! Like seriously this is HUGE. HUGE! Some of these changes were asked for for YEARS!!!!!! And they are here! FFXIV has leveled up! AWESOME!

the track is the boss theme from FF4 (like a ton of refs from 4 in Endwalker) but yes its awesome.

Those shiny gear i can only think of 2 ways to get them. Savage raid gear or Relic questline. They experimented with glowy armor sets in relic quest line especially the elemental gear set from Eureka, maybe this is their way of expanding on them. I do wonder if those halo effects are part of the set, that would be sick.
The crit and DH changes are very welcome. It helps a ton with party comps with crit buffers and guaranteed crit classes like WAR.

Per the 6.2 special site, the crazy effects gear with the flames and such is the new Abyssos Savage gear.
I don't like the fact that now you'll get the Season 1 and 2's lower ranking borders as well if you've reached Crystal in those seasons.
I've intentionally stopped at Diamond 1 in Season 1, because I liked the way the Diamond border looked like. Now they're just handing it away to Crystals who've reached that rank in Season 1, but I won't be getting the Season 1 Crystal border just because I've decided to stick to Diamond, knowing u wouldn't be getting those rewards…
