  1. Oh yes, DO NOT MISS THESE! Power ranger sets are funny, but the aiming and healing sets are amazing as well. The Machinist pistol is extra fun because it's just a handgun rather than a rifle like most guns. And for the mounts, it is probably best to just rush to complete 1 set so you can claim any title, because you only progress that achievement when you have the title active.

  2. As a guy familiar with GARO lore (coz I'm a GARO nerd), the Makai Priests (basically their spellcasters) use brushes similar to what is used in calligraphy (since it seems to be based off fantasy aspects of Taoisim ) to be able to cast their spells.

My one hope is that since they're adding support for ShB and EW jobs, more armor sets and mounts get added into the mix.

  3. Ohhhhhhhhh!
The Garo gear can be exchanged for mgp too! That's going to be a possible huge mgp sink for this event then, other than the new Nier mount also being mgp.
Finally lots of stuff to buy from Golden Saucer, for those who has already bought everything in it, and now just loaded with MGP but not much to spend them on.

  4. From the patch notes:
Trade Wolf Marks for Garo gear by speaking to the disreputable priest at the Wolves' Den Pier (X:5.0 Y:5.3). Items resembling the Garo gear can also be exchanged for MGP at the Gold Saucer (X:5.4 Y:6.6).

  5. It's Paintbrushes! I have the Scholar book, it has a paintbrush on the side of it. I've actually seen the first and second seasons of Garo (Which I highly recommend along with the two movies set between them) and the clothes dye VERY well. It makes a lot of sense though if you've seen the series.

The Makai Knights all wear wolf-based armor and are able to banish creatures called "horrors" (monsters that consume people). Garo is not just the name of the series, it is the Title of the golden armor, and in the Makai language means "Hope". Very fitting that the Paladin wears the Golden Armor. Each of the Armors featured here have names, so they belonged to prestigious knights in history (the armor is inherited/passed down, usually within a family), Garo being considered top tier.

As a lovely little note about the Garo armor itself, on the left hand, you can see a skull seated on the middle finger – this little metal skull is Zaruba; a sentient Makai artifact (A Ring in this case) that helps the bearer of Garo's armor (as long as he considers him worthy) with information about the Horrors he faces. He was created by a Makai priest.

The Makai priests/priestesses are the ones who make and maintain their weapons. While they are not as powerful as the Knights (they can banish weaker Horrors, but the Knights are needed to take down the BBEG ones) they are absolutely essential to helping the Knights operate.
