I'm surprised you're doing Coils. Everybody agrees the Realm reborn Coils raids are way harder than other normal raids in the game. It honestly might be more fun to try out the extremes instead, but that's you're call. You've been waiting for the hard content in the game and this is hard content, I just don't find the Coils raids as fun content compared to the other hard content in the game.

Gratz on da clear! I did this fight when it was current back in 2013. I believe it took us an embarrassing 3-4 months to complete the tier. The world first took about 2 months. As a community, we were still learning how to play the game. Also, there were bugs lol. I hope you enjoy the rest of Coil!

It's fun to see you make newbie mistakes like not knowing what a countdown is, and prepulling with rampart and Sheltron. Though, it's better you use your CDs early than not at all, which is what many new players do.
These early ARR fights have unintuitive mechanics and solutions, and sometimes are B.S. especially since back in the day the net code was worse so dodging twisters and divebombs were chaotic laggy deathtraps.
Oh man, this was a ton of fun. My first time clearing this myself. Glad we had some people who actually knew what they were doing for this lol.

This was a treat to watch! Almost nobody does this synced when it first opens up. Mad props for sticking with it and not giving up. This is what hard content is all about 😊
Using defensive buffs before the fight starts, skipping countdowns, ahh watching new players is always such an enjoyable experience haha hope u are liking it so far!
Synced Coils is honestly one of the biggest difficulty spikes in the game… and its not exactly 'fair' LOL. The later raids and trials are MUCH more intuitive. Coils is quite easily forgotten content to me imo, the gameplay in these raids is nowhere near reflective of current FFXIV.
…the story, on the other hand.. is phenomenal.
More progression videos like that, always fun to watch new players getting into
