Just finished this, the hardest part would be getting the money to buy all the stuff! Took me 4 days to get about 1mil to buy the items! Also I think you should mention that you shouldn't take the chance to get the materia(?) when you complete the weapon because it has a chance of breaking the relic weapon(?).

Silly question but once you upgrade the weapon from Nexus to Zodiac it consumes the old nexus weapon so I can't keep it for Glam?

11:00 – For anyone on this step, I can confirm that you CAN do these dungeons unsynced and receive the mats for the quest givers (date tried: 13Sep21). I'm working on my pld relic weapon and just ran through Aurum Vale with my rdm and got the vale bubo after clearing it! Good luck everyone!
You can do the dungeons on any class I did them on lvl 80 mch for my paladin.

Hi. What do I need to do to make Representatives sell materials for relic weapons? Do I have to take the relevant quest after MSQ? For instance, I am in Stormblood — can I somehow buy Thavnarian Scalepowders in advance with tomestones or do I have to complete Shadowbringers first and take lvl80 relic quest?
I want to spend tomestones on something useful and avoid wasting them due to 2k cap

Huh. I did it all. Been looking at several guides, and even this one doesn't help :T I finished "His Dark Materia", but it won't let me get my weapon. Says I have none of the mats, despite them being in my inventory.

The quest A Treasured Mother isn’t showing up. All the other quests did. Any idea why that might be? I was think I may have to finish the first two to get the third one to show up.
I'm a free trial and i have gotten even here, past the materia step which was boring beyond belief, and now making 8 master recipes is another fresh hell, and getting gil as a free trial for the desynthesis items is another layer of moist hell
I finally finished my Excalibur, it must be the most beautiful PLD weapon in the game
You can use different jobs to complete those dungeons btw, used my lvl 90 dancer to do all of them

Market board prices are close to 80k now. I got all the crafting classes to 30 to desynth and spent as much as I would on one from the marketplace trying to desynth
