With new MMOs like Blue Protocol, Ashes of Creation, Throne and Liberty and more right around the corner, I’ve started to question why are there so many new MMOs and what does it mean for the current big MMOs on the Market like Final Fantasy 14 and World of Warcraft.
Thanks for watching!

People have been saying that "XYZ is the WoW killer" for more than a decade now. The closest so far by a long shot has been final fantasy 14, and even that didn't do it.
I'll believe either of these games are dead only when we get the notice that either of them are shutting down their servers
Looking forward to d4.
That damn cat
Pax Dei and Ashes are my top lister.. btw a love your vids.. and i am till i found your d4 vid a agree with averthing you sayd. and i hope d4 gets more and more MMO features 🙂
I could use a new MMO… Or maybe return to WoW 😂
In my opinion, an MMO has to have lore & world building. If people care about the world & lore, they’ll want to play it more than a fresh new IP they aren’t invested in yet.
The real golden goose of live service is mobile games sadly.
The majority of the reason for Microsoft acquiring Activision Blizzard isn't even all the stuff we read in the news, It's stuff like Candy Crush and Diablo Immortal ( Yes seriously, that trashpile is one of their top grossing titles. )
Need those Blue Protocol jiggles👀
Gold rushes tend to have a plethora of snake oil merchants, hucksters and con-men, be smart and stay off the hype train.
Matty: ahh the camera is on , let me go beg for attention
It is pretty gross fortnite has made that much knowing most of it is from little kids
the female slang talk is a little much but overall great video.
No it's not over for them because I haven't seen shit released yet, all this over hype and nothing released westside, another '2 billion mmo's being released in 2023' goes by and not a sign of one them!!!
In my opinion the real reason there are so many MMOs coming out now, is because those companies smelled blood in the water. Showlands was killing WoW and their player base were jumping ship to any other MMO that could hold their attention. So those other companies saw an opportunity to make an ungodly amount of money and rushed to push out an MMO as quick as possible. So now we have a bunch of new MMOs on the way. In other words it's a second gold rush to see who can dethrone WoW.
