Thanks for the video! I remember having trouble remembering what all I had to unlock on my alt; My fave city is Gridania, btw!
I felt this when I made a story alt.
Go to mount up, where's my chocobo?
Try to visit a friend, where's the residential district teleport?
Go to repair my gear, wait, I'm not a crafter
My favourite city lore and acsthetics way is Uldah, but I think Limsa is the best when it comes to do daily things like checking on your retainers, going to your glam dressers and looking at prizes at the MB 😛
I'm team Ul'dah. At the outset, Gridania seems like the most peaceful city… until you realize that the tree huggers of Gridania are super xenophobic and racist tree huggers.

And Gridania stays xenophobic and racist the entire game. Yes, Ul'dah starts a city of robber barons who oppress the poor – but the Sultana later ends up figuring out how to use the Syndicate in ways that benefit all. And Limsa is expansionist as all getout at the beginning of the game, but eventually, Merlwyb learns that Limsa's expansionism just makes things worse for them in the long run. But Kan-E-Senna, as sweet as she is, doesn't ever seem to see how racist and xenophobic her city is.
