Breathing down Deryk's neck
It just occurred to me, once the guys get to doing island sanctuary stuff, there's going to be a new Isle of Val. 😅
These boys really struggle with LOOKING at bosses to determine mechanics. 4 Expansions and they've still never learned to look AT the boss, and only rely on attack names.
Hildibrand stream when? 😂
I also appreciate me some Loreena McKennitt 💜
watching Kyle jam out to first the Pandaemonium music last week and now Nald'Thal's theme is the kind of content I didn't know I needed.
Play Monk
Kyle with the Super-Ethers, pog.
4:54:56 – How the boys settle their difference in opinion regarding "In the Balance" …
We all wiped on the scales mechanic at least once on release, if not more. Especially if multiple ppl trying to correct the imbalance.
This time in terms of music trivia: A number of music pieces that feature a leitmotif from the song "Dawn of a New Era" (which first played at the very end of the ARR opening cinematic and then once more at the end of 2.0)!
First is the theme that plays in the Omphalos which is named "One among Wonders".
After that are the non-boss theme of Aglaia named "Pilgrimage" and the regular boss theme named "Radiance".
Last but not least, there is the theme for the fight against Nald'thal "In the Balance" (which uses coins as part of the percussion instruments).
Man just seeing the full fights properly with minilvl is so satisfying and sad at the smae time. The dev team needs to boost the boss hp by at least 30-40% because people are missing out on SO MANY mechanics on normal roulette runs.
is it just me that has had them at 35000 subs exactly for like atleast 4 months? I find it very wierd that 2 so talented are not getting alot more subs
So fun fact – Myths of the Realm and Pandaemonium were intentionally written to be thematic opposites to each other. The obvious example of this is how Pandaemomium is a (metaphorical) descent into hell, while Myths of the Realm is an ascension to the heavens. Each time I look through the story I find more of these parallels. Like how Pandaemonium is looking to the past while Myths is about the future of the star. I don't think it amounts to anything but they're fun ideas to play around with.
Not sure kyle knows, but you don't have to use the map to teleport. There is a teleport list that i find really convenient.
Kyle gotta get some presets goin for the modulator for these raids 😅
First time I did aglaia it also took me a hot minute to figure out how to read Nald'thal's mechanics, though I do take a form of delight in how confident Kyle was saying how it worked and very much not knowing how it worked.
Anyway Aglaia is one of my central arguments for why at most all duties should have a hard ilevel cap of 30-40 above their minimum ilevel.
I would just like to give the reminder: Nald'Thal came about specifically so Koji Fox can include "Thal's Balls" as an in-universe swear word.
On the album Forge Ahead Amanda and Keico do a great piano cover of In the Balance, not on Spotify yet😢.
I agree with Kyle, we need more Nero.
Oh Rhalgar and Ramuh: On one hand we have a lightning aspected wise old guy and on the other we have a lightning aspected wise old guy.
Hold up…
