  9. Got 99 on Nightmare the run after a guy paid every party member 1million gil not to roll. Got it in PF right after lol. Got my Demi Osma by entering a portal (raid at last boss) after the guy who was supposed to get in, got killed by a mob beside the portal and told me to enter. 😂

    I think for me living the Lala life I'm a huge fan of the small mounts and they just make you feel like you are seriously ZOOMING as a lala! I'd say my favs would be Witch's Broom, Direwolf, Gobwalker(for the music) and my top mount is Big Shell!
    Seriously, as a Lalafel just hop on the Big Shell crab mount and run around for like 2 minutes. You feel like you are CRUISING and the little clicky noise the feet make as they patter around is so satisfying! hahaha

"i rolled a 99, and then i left!" absolutely beautiful given the circumstances. i actually had the same happen with an FC run of "limitless blue EX". no scummy merc stuff, but i was a new player at the time and they wanted their "one last run" before calling it so i got invited since there were no other takers at the time. my first experience got me the white lanner and to this day its my favorite flying mount.

  28. Top 5 in no particular order~
    Flying Cumulus~ This one is pure aesthetic, with a touch of exclusivity. Simple and clean mount that has been my default pretty much from the moment I got it.
    Bomb Palanquin~ I started playing sometime during 3.3, so Ga Bu's story was one of the first bits of new patch content that was added after I caught up. It was what spurred me on to doing beast tribe quests, and the Kobolds were naturally my first pick.
    Magitek Predator~ I farmed this one in StB for ages with no luck. A few hours pretty much nightly under a PF "To Catch a Magitek Predator", through which I met tons of players, which was kinda important, because up until this point I had mostly played solo. Unfortunately, this farm also introduced me to the pain of losing with a 98 need roll. Bonus points for being the FF6 in game magitek armor model.
    Rathalos~ A super fun crossover event between two series that I adore? Yes please. Iirc, I managed to finish the mount farm for this before predator's. Although I never saw a whistle drop until I was only like 4 scales away >_>;;
    Company Chocobo~ Maybe I got more use out of my combat chocobo than some since I spent a lot of time solo fating to level up and just exploring the terrain in general. They still have a home on my hotbar, and the bits with Seto in ShB absolutely resonated with me.

    Bonuses~ The omicron beast tribe reward is absolutely going to join this list, it is perfection.
    Sadly missing~ I can only hope that one day the Dreadnaught mount model is recycled. They were some of the more memorable enemies for me in the 13 games, which I actually enjoyed for the most part (13-2 in particular), and ever since I first saw this model in… coils? I'd been waiting for it to be a mount. Now I'm waiting for it to be a mount not gated behind ranked pvp which just isn't my sort of thing.

  29. My favorite mount is a toss between Warrior of Light Dragon and the Triple Triad Card. Warrior cause I got it on my first clear. Triple triad symbolized just how much of the game I had to go through such as Eureka, Bozja, BLU Mage. Recently however I also got the Cerberus mount and it was such a joy to get after all these years.

  32. My Favourite Mount is the Original Cumulus Mount (not the Yellow Mogshop one). Here in EU we are always screwed when it comes to Collaboration Events with differend Brands. For the Cumulus it was a Collab with Dr Pepper here were you had to bought special cans….and of course no Shop in my Area sold this special Event Cans only the regular ones. I drove 80km in the nearest bigger sized City just to buy 25 Cans of Dr Pepper 😅
