  1. I have to say you're awesome, LOL! 😊 It took me 3 or 4 matches to feel comfortable doing PVP because I didn't know what the hell was going on! 😅 But from your 2nd match on you were really good in my opinion. 👍 Do use LB though! Definitely you'll catch the teamwork mechanic eventually. I hope you won't get too addicted to it to suffer, but I'm glad to see you enjoying it! 😁

  2. PvP is the real test of your reflexes. You need to move smartly and focus down what the group attacks. Setting up your UI and hotbar for PvP massively helps with reaction time. Oh and use LB on anyone at 50% and below for easy kills.

  3. Awesome seeing Rich get back into FF14, with some Crystalline Conflict! This PvP mode is extremely addicting and definitely added that injection of fun to the game. Would love to see more ranked pvp content, keep up the great work, Rich!

  4. My targeting solution has been a macro. I pick a person on my team who looks like they're good at picking targets, and I set that ally as my Focus target. My macro targets my Focus target, and then targets their target.

I usually try to click on my targets, to focus things that are low. But there are times when I am having trouble clicking on my target of choice because everyone is so tightly grouped, or I have to pick between 2 half health enemies to target and it would be wisest to just target whatever my teammate is targeting. So I click macro and boom, instant focus fire.

  5. Didn't expect to be up against Rich, but watching him do some casual pvp made me want to try it and ranked out. I've never tried out pvp before even though I've been playing for years. It was a lot more fun than I thought! I ended up playing ranked so much I eventually made it to silver that night! 😀

  6. The ranked mode heavily relies on your team mates to know when to attack and when to withdraw and withdrawing is necessary to regroup or outrun a limit break.
I’ve played a lot of CC over 500 matches.
200ish of them ranked, with 144 wins and currently Crystal Tier with ~800 crystal credit top 100’s
In casual and so early on in ranked everyone is so scattered and unaware of what to do or how to do it, once you climb and you’re opponent knows the basics just as much as you do, it becomes who can coordinate the best and the team really comes into focus, so do their job types since not all jobs are equal, diversity makes some comps more favorable and others not so much but both CAN win it’s just harder to do with Comp A than Comp B
