  1. Please do the Binding Coils of Bahamut. Its kind of important but its not in the roullete. I recommend doing it unsync with a few friends cuz a lot of people miss it. Its like…..kind of really important and I don't understand why its shuffled off.

  2. I think the only dungeon I can say I dislike in FFXIV is Copperbell Mines. Aside from that, they're all really cool. Some of the early ones aren't terribly complex, but that makes sense – you don't have a lot of tools yet.

Also, one thing to keep in mind is that FFXIV wants very much to be a social game. So either play with friends… or make friends. It'll be so much better.

  3. I tried FFXIV to find legitimate reasons on why it's overrated and shut people down, but so far it's been way better than any game I've ever played, mmo or not. Now I think it's underrated. I haven't finished it yet, taking my time.

  4. I actually came from SWTOR to FFXIV when they stopped making end game content and all the Guilds fell apart on my server. I’m still sad to this day about it because I loved the game and the people I was playing with but without that the game had lost its luster for me. When I first started FFXIV it was somewhere in 2.X because the Rogue class and Ninja job was just added. Queue times were horrible back then so I didn’t play long before dipping out to pursue other interests. I came back in Heavensward and played for a bit before taking a little break until Stormblood came out. I took breaks in between patches but came back before Shadowbringers and have played consistently since 5.0. The thing I find most interesting is all the quality of life changes that have been made to the game since I first started playing which has drastically improved the quality of the game. Even re-playing ARR is no where near as bad as it was when I first did it because the base game is very different.

  5. Glad to hear your enjoying FFXIV! Thank you for the video.
I think these "why I switched " videos are a group cathartic event that's happening before our eyes. I'm happy there are so many sprouts that are enjoying another game and are having fun!

  6. This video is the one of the only ones ive seen that highlights the "friends" angle. He is spot on 100% no cap. This game is a god tier if you have a small group of friends to do content with. SE crafted a great environment for players to derp around AND still get meaningful stuff done. 😀

  7. Lmao the inherited wow behavior to power level…get all the way to 80 but learn nothing of ur kit thru 3 expansions bc all u did was powerlevel instead of progging extremes…n running content

  8. Spent the last few years shit talking FFXIV while playing WoW, decrying it as a shitty weeb game, (Despite me never trying it/other FF games and being a JP-speaking whitey), tried it since Blizzard are fucking dumb as shit and having a really chill time/ nearly finished HW MSQ.

  9. Ffxiv's community is one of the most fragile ones or atleast i feel like you can't say anything negative about how people play without getting a "leave them alone/let them play how they want to" getting reported

  10. Ah you remind me so much of a youtuber that used to read his weird fan mail and stuff. Totally forgot his name.

Glad to hear you're liking FFXIV! Started in SB as well and still loving it.

  11. You can play FFXIV for the next 6 months straight then the "choice" to continue depends what you "want" from the game WOW was almost the same but it got "shorter" on each expansion!
