  2. "Ooooh, the axolotl, I'm wearing an axolotl t-shirt!"

My newest idea for a Dungeons & Dragons character is an axolotl-like lizardfolk bard who fights with an ax guitar with ax blades on it, whose name is, get this: Axel! He talks with an overdone cockney/rockerboy accent, and his sole mission in life is to spread the power of Rock & Roll to every corner of the world. Can't find work? Use Rock & Roll to get noticed! Some bandits try to mug you? Use the power of Rock & Roll get the bandit on our side, and inspire his/her/their rebellious streak toward more noble ends! War has broken out? Use the infinite power of Rock & Roll to make both sides comes together in (figurative and literal) harmony!

To really complete the rockstar role-play package, would preferably have a negative modifier for Intelligence and even lower for Wisdom (especially if he/she/they actually thinks music will solve all potential problems just like that) and maybe even with a feature that this character has disadvantage on Perception checks that involve hearing while being resistant to thunder damage (thunder, not lightning) as a gameplay means of showing that they have hearing damage and/or tinnitus.

Also, they call these oxolotls "ambystomas." The axolotl's scientific designation is "Ambystoma mexicanum." The more you know Cue the flying star and rainbow

  3. I had the same reactions to meeting Emet and Hythlodaeus, and I too ran through Elpis exploring before I did the quests lol. I stayed there sooooo long, I didn't wanna leave. Also, I loved Meteion, she is so freaking adorable. I just want to hug her lol.
