My FFXIV Fanfest 2023 Journey – Las Vegas Trip…full story. Final Fantasy XIV had it’s first big convention in years. The FF14 community finally had the chance to meet up IRL. Viewers and streamers finally got to hang, talk and even dance at the con. The Final Fantasy 14 cosplay was on point. Yoship P, Koji Fox, Ishakawa and Soken from Square dev team were all there. The Primals did an incredible live performance (my fav being their rendition of “Close in the Distance” from Endwalker Ultima Thule. I’ve never been to a video game fan festival before, so this was a pretty awesome first time & experience. This is the full story of my journey, from start to finish (with special guest appearance from cat, Billy).
I am amazed anyone recognised me in person at all XD Thank you everyone who came up to tell me they like the content, the voice acting, who thanked me for the laughs, who asked me for a photo, and who were super nice and fun to talk and hang with in general. That’s a long sentence, I know, but I had to put it all into words.
The post-Fanfest story covers my time in Vegas. It includes Omegamart in Area 15, the TEKKEN tournament at Player 1, cocktails by the pool, slot machine gambling, and more!

I went a week later to Vegas for EVO. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to meet ya. Maybe someday when FFXIV quits sucking lol.

I dunno, you say meeting so many people gave you a big ego, but when I met you, you seemed pretty humble to me lol. (Was second day, I was up on the second floor with Yunaleska, waiting for Joi and Itodduso to do their photo op lol) I had heard about the afterparty at area 15, but didn't know they actually had ff14 stuff there. That would have been cool to see. That video game bar is right next to the escape room I used to work at. We got a lot of people who would hit up the bar first before coming over. XD

Looks like you had an absolute blast! I've slipped out of FFXIV recently but the community around the game is fantastic.
I was in Vegas last year and it really is a city that is dialled up to 11.
