About Final Fantasy 14:
Final Fantasy XIV is an MMORPG released in 2010 by Japan-based Square Enix. The Final Fantasy series of games features unique stories for each release that take place within unrelated worlds that carry similar features such as monsters, beasts, technology, and magical systems.
Despite the name Final Fantasy, the stories within each game contain a mixture of fantasy and science fiction elements.
The series is well known for its artistic content, such as musical scores by Nobuo Uematsu and character art by Yoshitaka Amano. Final Fantasy 14 continues this saga by taking on the composing talents of Masayoshi Soken, and the highly praised writing of Natsuko Ishikawa. The project is directed by Naoki Yoshida (Yoshi-P) who is also praised for his ability to connect to the fanbase as well as steer the game into new horizons over time.
