The bards performing at Limsa in Primal would perform a range of songs, but if someone performs Eye of the Tiger, viewers would start doing the /box emote.
Some even change into different costumes to match the song they're playing XD

I've been playing this game for 10 years now and i'm still amazed at how great most of these bard troupes are. Yeah it's mostly people multiboxing and running a programm but it's still freaking awesome how good it can sound with all the different instruments we have available in-game.
I like how it’s just the same drum sound spammed over the coordinated music.
A game that lets bards actually be bards.
I actually do play music without plug in but in return i only play simple things 😂. And being distracted by random stuff happening in game is very normal.

I like how people love it but yet condemn addons but yet they are used to auto play these songs
If anyone is wondering even multiboxing this a lot of setup, and with the input lag playing manually is a huge massive pain even for musicians outside of game
I've come across a lot of bard bands. One of them was so huge that they even had a bunch of back-up dancers in matching glams for their performances.
yes the allagan coins are vendor trash items you sell for money. though I save them for a later system that I use for trade in progress, they will also be worth more than the vendor value. I just dump them into my chocobo saddlebag to save space, which you get eventually.

One time I just TPd back to Uldah for something and at the Aetheryte there was a bard band playing "Killing in the name of" by Rage Against the Machine. The last thing I would ever guess anyone would by playing in FFXIV.

Download a midi and use a plugin.
That's all it takes to be an xiv bard.

Welcome to FFXIV, I hope you enjoy your stay. The initial main story questing will seem slow but really starts picking up near the end of a realm reborn. Once you get into heavensward it kicks into high gear.

These bard troupes BLOW MY MIND. I've been practicing and I can barely manage 'Doe a deer a female deer' most days. These guys are BROKEN.
