  1. all that matters blizzard doesn’t care of their player base and to trash asmond is like going to church and washing your sins away as your screaming my hands is on fire

  2. Imagine having a guy do marketing for your business for years for free, then he left because your product turned shit and you instantly branded him as a villain.
They haven’t even tried to reach out to him or show any gratitude, instead turned cry wussies when he pointed out legit fuckups

  3. World of Warcraft used to be really good when it was more dark and it sometimes felt like a horror game. Nowadays, well, WoW feels like a toy for ages 5 to 12. 😵
On the other hand, FF14 just entered it's darkest chapter with Shadowbringers and next up is Endwalker, which I believe will be even darker and mature than the current version. Perfect.

  4. Been playing wow for around 13 years, on and off on eu servers and I have actually never witnessed racism. Maybe your boy needs to move to eu. More civilised humans this side of the Atlantic

  5. look more canceled culture… Not racist and will play whatever game I want to play… Not going to drop a game I've been playing for years. If what they say is true that wow players are racist… And all these wow players are turning to final fantasy. I guess there's racist final fantasy players too… So with this logic I guess we don't play either game

  6. I love how the concern with a player using the "N" word is more about them being american and saying it. It doesn't matter who says it, its still offensive and wrong.

  7. I disagree with many things you bring up. The racism incident sounds like some low lives / kids that got into the racism crap due to media being all about it maybe.
Like when Coof was new and all the coverage led to idiots licking parts of stores or toilet seats as a "challenge".
Imo WoW and the devs make a good work and even though there is space for very legit criticism I enjoy the story a lot, getting back to the original heroes and the way the plot about the orcish imvasion, the Scourge and the Burning Legion steps up.
Like for you anyways, because I like you bring it up and dont smash on any side. Cheers

  8. Loved FFXIV… wish I had a second life to be able to play it. MMOs like FFXIV require too much time…
I will also add that I did play FFXIV many years ago, in its ARR iteration just around the second expansion. FFXIV has a similar issue with players that harass and belittle new players or players who aren't hardcore, dedicating their every moment to understanding every bit of minutae about mechanics and bosses. When I joined a party and if they ever caught a whiff of being new or not understanding a mechanic, often times people would just leave the party and drop the dungeon. Not as bad as what's going on in WoW, for sure, but still does prohibit a player-base.

  9. I'm going to have to disagree with this fella. Blizzard will not learn if everyone leaves. It seems like they are pushing people away on purpose.

According to their last few revenue meetings Mobile income far outpaced every one of their other IP's including World of Warcraft.

If Wow were to close they could focus on their mobile strategy and dumping that whole playerbase wouldn't affect them much. I don't think they care anymore.

  10. I'm sorry but if you put up with racist shit from the same person for 10+ years that kinda your own fault. At some point you need to deal with that person directly and sort it out or break contact with them entirely. I can't imagine letting that go on for more than a few days. I'm going to need more context if there's a legit reason why it went on so long.

  11. people still play wow?
i'll never understand the dumb masses.

i used to play guild wars……it was awesome having a fully obedient computer-controlled party(and myself of course). with my own "heroes" i was able to do everything. and the other players remained only for what they were born, to be defeated in pvp. specially fort aspenwood.

i tried guild wars 2. i gave it an honest effort….but it was basically wow with a slight guild wars flavour……it got very boring, very fast…..the only semi-entertaining thing i was able to do was steal one of those flags warriors drop to buff everyone…..from some random players who were doing a quest…..but it didnt even inconvenience them….there wasnt even multiclassing(at least when i left, around 2013)….

  12. I may be of the minority of current wow subs, but I'm enjoying SOD as a raid. After the newness wears off though not sure if I'll still be enjoying the game without leveling my druid to 60. Current main spec/toon fell from grace in pvp hard with assassination rogues and feral druids pumping better numbers and having better damage mitigation/stealth/exit strategies for resets. Playing a just ok spec in PVE is whatever, long as you enjoy the spec. Playing a just ok spec in pvp when other specs are like gods feels bad. As someone that does not expect wow to shut down their servers anytime soon I'm fine with people that don't want to play, not playing wow. If I found out that a particular automaker had engineers or factory workers that were committing sexual harassment I could choose to not buy their vehicles in the future but I don't think that is quite enough to blacklist a corporation as a consumer, even if it is absolutely enough for victims to seek reparations for damages as well as governments to issue lawsuits against the corporation. In Texas when Dick's sporting goods came out and said they were no longer going to sell firearms because people could and have harmed each other with firearms, pro-gun people wanted to see the company shut down. It was easy for me personally not to purchase stuff there cuz I never really did, local firearm shops and Amazon could supply me with anything I wanted Dick's sells for cheaper, but it didn't please me to know that Dick's sporting goods locations were shutting down from lack of business. Just to summarize the rant, wow is bad doesn't necessarily need to be a headline but if that's the opinion that you have don't play and that's okay. If your opinion of wow being bad and you not wanting to play is due to the sexual assault or harassment of employees, good, great, don't play. Going around telling everyone that you don't play because of these allegations that are probably true, kind of comes off like virtue signaling. It would probably take a couple hundred thousand to a million people to unsub from wow for Blizzard or Activision to give a darn. If they cared about our opinions conduit energy wouldn't be a thing, hunters and rouges wouldn't need to kill sylvanas twice at a minimum once on mythic to get a Max level item with meh stats.

  13. My friends and I used to always ask ourselves… when will WoW die?? Never? Someday?
We asked this back in cata.

Dude. This is definitely the end if not the beginning of the end. What a shit show.

  14. "they found out he was black and kicked him out, then re-invited only to ask him if he was still black then kicking him out again."
so some people that you probably don't want to associate with prevent you from associating with them. then instead of learning his lesson he went back to those that hate him. talk about stockholm syndrome. really i don't see a problem with people kicking people out that they don't want to interact with, for whatever reason. this is something the younger generation needs to learn (and haven't), that when someone doesn't like you and wants to not be around you then you shouldn't try to be around them. if not being around them doesn't impact your life then there is no harm and the two of you should stay apart. when you have to be around each other both of you should hold in the things that cause friction between the two of you as much as physically possible and do what needs to be done so that you can then no longer be around each other. let racists be racist in their own little private places, let communists be communists in their own private places, etc.

  15. Even if it is not said with hard R it's not okay… I dont know why you keep bringing it on the table, if you are white/any ohter race than black you shouldn't say it even as a joke, racism isn't a joke.

  16. Hi, people are literal trash everywhere in every online game. If you think its bad on WOW, you would be reduced to crying under your bed after playing with the human garbage on EVE online. Wanting WOW and Blizzard to die simply because players are terrible human beings is stupid. Block the losers and move on.

  17. Of you think this is in just WoW your sadly mistaken. It’s rampant in most online games. It’s in FF14 it’s in cod fortnite etc etc etc. It’s a problem in gaming not just WoW.
