WHAT THE FUCK IS A KILOMETER
Double Check and Checkmate have the same effect now? That seems like a really peculiar change. I guess it does help a bit with action bar management, but no other job seems to have something that is ostensibly just picking a move for its aesthetics.

I think it would say if it auto direct crits in the tooltip, and as far as I've seen with people uploading the DT tooltips, Wildfire looks unchanged.

Love these changes, Part of me still wishes that auto crossbow also lowered the cooldown on the 2 oGCDs but this still looks really good

2:26 It isn't effected by reassemble…. Reassemble is still showing as being unused after you use Full Metal Field and falls off as being unused…
Every job has their iconic first job gear set that defines the look and feel of that job that no followup expansion can ever really out do but DT Machinist gear is absolutely the best its ever had. In fact the same could be said for quite a few of the job gear sets this expansion, they really pulled their A game out this time around.
All the leather and little metal bits on the job gear looks SO GOOD.
Judging by the tooltip, Full Metal Field is a guaranteed critical direct hit already (hence the bonus damage during crit and dh buffs) so reassemble doesn't work with it.

i do wish i got to use my damn gun more on machinist, we out here like inspector gadget pulling out a bunch of crazy bullshit instead of just shooting with the gun in my hands. that's really my only disappointment, everything else here rocks.
them doing nothing to make MCH AOE feel not so clunky is very disappointing.

'Full Metal Field' should have just been called 'Heavyarms'. Missed opportunity.
Full Metal Field is automatically a critical direct hit so it does not consume Reassemble. You can even see this in his own video around 2:12 when he pops Reassemble before Full Metal Field and the buff is not consumed. I repeat, Reassemble does NOT CURRENTLY affect Full Metal Field.
I'm happy with what we've got but MCH's pure aoe tools seem forgotten. Both double-check and checkmate are now aoe's but crossbow still doesn't lower the cooldown on any of these skills. Flamethrower is completely unchanged so there's very few reasons to use it since it doesn't generate heat like scattergun does and battery can only be spent on Queen who's strictly single-target so dungeons will continue to be running around with 100 battery until the next boss because there's nothing to spend it on unless CBU3 decides to add more single target encounters between bosses in dungeons.
But then again none of this really matters since both chainsaw and excavator are aoe moves. Bioblaster now has 2 charges, both ocgd's are aoe and fullmetal is also aoe but it's still a bit weird they did nothing about these skills.
Flamethrower still worthless hot garbage.
Still no AoE battery options.
AoE on Wildfire would have been appreciated.
