A few sharp eyed viewers noticed the benchmark was run before – don't worry, I just had it set up for me before I got in today. I promise every single questions you have: "why so low?" "why 1080p?" etc etc is all because of OBS and needing to make sure it all runs on there first without issue.
I want to entertain first and foremost – that means making some concessions. So sometimes prep work and setting tweaking is required.
For sure going in as a Viper Hrothmommy. Sad we didn't get to see you in the character creator sweating with the rest of us.
I swear the changes to facial expressions are the biggest thing here. They look so much more natural than they did before, and I hope that continues in the full release
My cat looks basically the same… love the removal of the Minecraft grade textures from the gear though. And they even did all the raid gear, relic gear and tome gear as well <3

I normally level machinist and ranged phys first so I can slot in raiding groups easy. But since I am giving up that idea, I may just do viper for the story, dual wield vs dual wield looks cool.

I'm gonna stick with summoner because I like throwing my weird dogs at things but I'll try to be better about levelling other jobs with the msq so i dont waste a bunch of exp :'D
Going in as machinist , cuz lets be fair, while others bring swords magic and friendship … my WoL went, "why not bullets, and a robot" 🙂

My lalafell looks so different… they changed the eye shape. Not for the better either…
My main is DNC, and I'll probably stick with that, but I'm definitely trying Viper and Pictomancer out first!
I'll probably end up going Gunbreaker or Sage for MSQ since they're my comfort picks. Gonna pick up Pictomancer reeeeal quick tho!
Ive been stuck on dragoon since day one, but I'll definitely be leveling viper and pictomancer anyway!

My computer is decent but a few years old, so even though I meet the minimum requirements for Dawntrail I was still worried about how it would actually handle the update in practice. But I got a high score, with the only noticeable frame drops being during the big battle scene (but unlike the benchmark, I have other players' spell effects turned off in the real game). I had nothing to worry about after all.
As far as the player models update, I personally have no complaints about how my WoL looks though I've seen some people taking issue with some changes. Hopefully tweaks are made before final launch. I remember when WoW did its player model update back in Warlords of Draenor a lot of the designs looked totally different from the original, but things are much more faithful this time.
Lil' JC is looking great! A fellow Lala here as well, and I main SUM, with SAM, RDM, and BRD as my backup 90's currently. I plan to go SUM of course, but I will be working Pictomancer too!
