  1. No intro? Excuse me, I needed time to get all cozy before watching the video, what will I do now?
I need a good supply of cookies to make up for it… And of copium, because I have never enough. COPIUM.

  2. Annie said I can still leave a comment, but what's the point if no one will read it? Sadge
Also taking the group picture with umbrellas was great, things like that should happen more often!

  3. Yep, was gobsmacked when this happened. Night and day viewed against other MMO's. Takes quite a bit to have me in my chair with my jaw hanging open, but this did it. I hadn't realized how WoW and other MMO's treatment of players had actually affected me, until I saw what I had actually thought possible from them, come to life in FF.

  4. I hope they have another Rising where we can go back to their "office" in game. It was so cool talking to all the dev NPCs. I remember some people liked it so much they even left alts logged out in the event zone so they could "visit" the staff whenever they wanted. Then something like a year or so later there was a line in the patch notes saying that those specific zones/instances would be completely shut down and any characters inside would be moved back into Eorzea proper… so get your last visit in while you can.

  5. Once a year, FFXIV holds the Rising Seasonal Event, where the game devs personally thank the players for taking part in the game. Blizzard has a similar event, where the game devs come out and tell the player base to eat shit.

  6. fun fact: when the end of 1.0 came this was the character of a GM and he/she was going around actually interviewing players of what they were witnessing, it is also speculated that this gm was the one spawning the monsters around that area.
