Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix.   1. I wish Astro had a nuke like blood lily, Earthly star would be good if it wasn't a 100 potency – 160 potency damage. They should just bake the base healing potency as the damage potency. Not to mention it's a 10s (for max potency) aoe that you CAN'T move. Either that or card system is reworked to be part of a dps rotation along with buffing the party. We lose sects so at least give us this much D:

  2. I laughed so hard I cried. Actually as a SCH I had an arguement with a WHM because she did not want to heal. She was killing me, literally killing me. Monks all have weapons. Red Mages actually are the best Rez in the game. Your right about dancer. BLM do NUKES they are Fire 4 Flare and Foul. WAR Fell Cleeeeaaaaaave. Yeah sometimes I get stuck doing broil and forget to heal apologies to all who have suffered from this.

  4. in topic of blood lily, you get lily every 30 seconds and it has to be used through Afflatus Solace or Afflatus Rapture for it to count toward blood lily which mean use this attack every 1 min 30 sec at the least, and cannot be used as part of openning attack which is when almost all damage CD do actually line up.

    In practice, if AoE is needed, WHM would actually spam Holy, which is actually a spam-able AoE with bonus of stun. Counting diminishing return (repeated same status ailment reduce the duration in half), you get 4 + 2 + 1 sec stun which allow Holy to be both mitigation and damage.

    Also not all DRKs are edgelords, but most edgelords are DRK, thus the joke. Reaper's gonna half the the amount of DRKs next expansion xD

    Highest potency, afaik is Hyosho Ranryu at 1200p + inherent Kassatsu buff

  7. Gonna be honest, credit to Larry for trying, and putting in the work and time/energy with the production…. but this one is dry. Feels like the same standard meme pulled from reddit that you've heard on repeat for the last few years. It's not original, and it feels devoid of creativity.

  8. Gunbreaker is so much fun I’ve been leveling it and it’s a 3 part combo which at a certain point becomes a 6 part combo which ends up becoming a 9 part combo (with mixed in off gcd)
    Gunbreaker is basically 3 dps in a trench coat

  9. Alright time to fact check your chat, just because I like keeping track of all the numbers in the game :p
    The blood lily spell, Afflatus Misery, being the "single highest potency attack in the game" is not actually true. It's very much up there, but still not the highest.
    Now, a lot of the attacks that can go higher than it do so either by being a DoT (see for example Sonic Break or Goring Blade) or similar (see Machinist's Queen or Dark Knight's Esteem), or by requiring a specific potency-increasing buff to be usable and that buff being counted into it (see Confiteor or Goka Mekkyaku), so Misery could be taken to be stronger than them just from the flat one-hit potency listed in the tooltip.
    But even if you don't count any of those, there's still Kaeshi Setsugekka (1200), Hissatsu Senei (1100), Hyosho Ranryu (1200), Inner Chaos (920 with guaranteed direct crit), Standard Finish (1000) and Technical Finish (1500) that stand above the 900 potency of Afflatus Misery. So whoever was saying that was gassing it up a bit too much.
    It does have the claim to the highest directly-on-the-tooltip-for-one-hit potency for an AoE… except when you account for the damage falloff it has, leaving Confiteor and Goka Mekkyaku above it when hitting 2+ and 4+ enemies respectively, without even accounting for that aforementioned necessary buff each of those has!

  10. Favourite character from Rurouni Kenshin, Hajime Saito and I wish they'd done more with Souji Okita (although I understand the historical limitation owing to his death before Kenshin arriving in Tokyo).
