  1. After Alisae ripped into Zenos you can tell he had to stop & think about what she said, it's the first time he has ever actually had a notion of listening to the words of others. Like what he is doing now will not help him find what he is looking for.

  2. It's funny seeing chat say Zenos walks off with no response because he doesn't care.
No it's because what she said hit home closer than most realize. All Zenos knows is loneliness even from his childhood.
Love what EW did with Zenos

  3. By the way, interesting detail. The title Garleans use for their worst traitors, "Viator" means "Traveler" in Latin. Emet really was bitter about Azem leaving the convocation.

  4. Zenos basically called out the WoL.
Villains sow suffering and pain but all they need to do is to tell you a sad story and we are all dropping at their feet. We killed hundreds of Garleans for something convenient for our lives and ideals. Honestly, I don't blame the people of Tertium for wishing us to die.
That goes for y'all Emet-Selch fans out there.

  5. Like him or not, Zenos' outlook on life is the best answer to Hermes' question out of every character in the story. He realizes the pointlessness to life itself like Meteion found but still rejects nihilism and makes his own meaning in life. Most people in that position would either simply give up or just flock to religion or an authority figure to give them meaning.
