You know shit is serious when the worst person you know is the one who found the meaning of life.
The Zenos scene was so fucking insane!! I was drowning in profundities!! 😆
After Alisae ripped into Zenos you can tell he had to stop & think about what she said, it's the first time he has ever actually had a notion of listening to the words of others. Like what he is doing now will not help him find what he is looking for.
Endwalker both improves Zenos and ruins him, and I cannot decide if I like him more prior or more here.
ngl I thought Zenos made good points. How many have we killed and ruined for "good reasons" and the like? I agree though, I ended up liking Jullus a lot. He really turned around nicely.
You should read on Zenos and why became this way. I agree with Zenos 100%. Zenos also never cared about being alone, he always was.
Based Zenos.
It's funny seeing chat say Zenos walks off with no response because he doesn't care.
No it's because what she said hit home closer than most realize. All Zenos knows is loneliness even from his childhood.
Love what EW did with Zenos
no matter how many characters I get through Endwalker (I'm currently on my third) I squeal out lod when Alisaie says what she did in the trailer xD
It's the moment you realize there's actual meaning to his madness.
So simple, direct, and hard to refute; Alisaie managing to say something meaningful to him was impressive.
Zenos ironically had the answer to Hermes' question
once more Alisae using up the LB
By the way, interesting detail. The title Garleans use for their worst traitors, "Viator" means "Traveler" in Latin. Emet really was bitter about Azem leaving the convocation.
Zenos basically called out the WoL.
Villains sow suffering and pain but all they need to do is to tell you a sad story and we are all dropping at their feet. We killed hundreds of Garleans for something convenient for our lives and ideals. Honestly, I don't blame the people of Tertium for wishing us to die.
That goes for y'all Emet-Selch fans out there.
Like him or not, Zenos' outlook on life is the best answer to Hermes' question out of every character in the story. He realizes the pointlessness to life itself like Meteion found but still rejects nihilism and makes his own meaning in life. Most people in that position would either simply give up or just flock to religion or an authority figure to give them meaning.
