Zidane has a weapon where in the description it says Also known as "The Viper"
I am loving what i see so far. I just hope i enjoy the gameplay more than Ninja (my current least favorite job). I want to have a reason to actually want Scouting gear xD
I still think i might go for the new caster as my MSQ job depending on if i like i aesthetically, but i always give every new job a good shot.

If anyone noticed he made the KH 2 Sora Valor Form (Dual Wield form) Pose in the very beginning. Unless Zidane also does that, but I do not know, and I do not know which game came out first. I know KH2 was a PS2 game and I assume FFIX was a PS2 game as well, but not sure.
This job is just every weakness I have in design and aesthetics and it’s even a reference to my favorite FF game. I found my new main.
When I hear viper, I think of that old Married With Children episode where Al almost won a Dodge Viper.

I've jumped from jobs in this game, nothing satisfied that dual sword fantasy itch I have in other games but I'm GLAD we're getting one that's not a tank. Retiring my Samurai and gearing up on Ninja for this.
Uldah does love it’s Melee Jobs. Monk, Samurai, Reaper, and now Viper. Hell, you can throw in Paladin if you want
I was hoping for Corsair with them making it a Job that use both sword and gun for that Pirate theme but guess maybe sometime in the future. Heck, they revived the Scythe Dark Knight from FFXI by making it the Reaper Job. However, Viper is nice and the dual sword job been in demand since 2.0 so with that removed from the FF14 Job bucket list, it is only a question of what jobs to expect next.
Also, Viper really giving that Thief/Rogue feeling and glad they are doing it that way. Ninja job has been slowly removing the Rogue/Assassin skills each expansion and replacing them with Ninjutsu skills so having Viper for the Rogue style combat is a nice addition for those who wanted to Main a job that is more Rogue/Assassin rather than Ninja. It is even better it is obviously based around Zidane and Gabranth which they made more obvious by having the character to demo the job being a Male Miqo'te.

I am a traditionalist and wish the went with corsair. Pretty much same thing so why change the name
Honestly Viper is right up my alley. Not only does it fulfill what I wish Rogue had turned into instead of Ninja, but it also feels very fluid going from being a RPR main throughout Endwalker. I just hope whatever the 7.x relic series is for VPR (or whatever the acronym will be) will mix with my perception for my character. 🙂
I am going to do my best to come up with a Kiriko outfit… I don't care what y'all say. I loved SAO and I love this new job!! Haha! 😀

Viper reminds me of Zidane from FF 9, Serge from Chrono Cross, Edward Kenway from AC: Black Flag and Kirito from SAO.
