  1. It's nice to see them make call backs to everyone you ever helped paying it forward in your time of greatest need. Seeing everyone show up had me in tears then I kept crying through the part that came after.

  2. If you have kids, Endwalker hits you closer home
Meevah and Qerasaf's baby in Thavnair, Forchenault's stubbornness, Venat's motherly love, Hermes and Meteion, the two Garlean sisters, Jullus and his house in ruins… It just hurts.

  3. Not only this scene was awesome by bringing a lot of friends old and new, there's also Fourchenault's redemption, from giga asshole to giga daddy (the mom was great from start to finish tho).

  4. I may have missed some changes since this is off the top of my head, but here's the big (spoilery) list of changes based on clearance! (do correct me whenever)

EDIT: Added missed info, fixed some smartphone blunders.

    Heavensward:
Shadow of Mhach (Alliance raid) – Leofard and Cait Sith on Manacutter instead of a nameless Knight
Alexander (normal raids) – Horary visits Idylshire, complete with gobbiebooms

    Stormblood:
Return to Ivalice (alliance raid)- Prima Vista
Four Lords (trials)- Tenzen's Phoenix Blade donated to the cause
Omega (normal raids)- Alpha and Omega
Eureka (relic weapons)- Message from Ejika Tsunjika

    Shadowbringers:
Sorrow of Werylt (trials)- Care package from Gaius (Allagan artifact)
Save the Queen (relic weapons)- Bozjan Resistance

  5. Me and my boyfriend got to this scene at the same time. It was great to see the differences in real time. I would read out what was different about mine to him while he waited for our cutscenes to match up again.

  6. To this day I still see people hate on Fourchenault and it irks me. Yeah he was a dick, but he was being a father, in the best way see saw fit to be. Confronted with the end of the world, he did everything he thought was right. And even after this, when he owns up to his nonsense and trusts the very fate of the world to those whom he had dedicated every action of his life to, people still dunk on him.

  7. Yeah if I'm honest it's real fuckin' weird seeing people get elitist about what side content you did or didn't do.

None of that stuff is mandatory, for one thing. They're added in as a bonus for those who DID complete it but not there by default because the devs knew that that content doesn't cater to everyone. At the same time, you're streaming the game; nobody can blame you for skipping optional content when you had so much of the game to get through and a live audience to watch you do it in real time. I see XIV players falling back into the realm of "react harder" and similar attitudes towards content creators these days…
