I cant remember BLM to be that bad for leveling… I mean, you two-shot every enemy in open world, so if FATEs are your thing inbetween dungeon spams, go ahead. And standing-still… honestly, its good for your psychie, after all: its such a fast-paced world we live in today, its good to play a job that forces you to relax and STAND STILL, if only for the duration of the cast XD
I still mained black mage through the entire MSQ. Idk, I like the kinda fluid rotation due to fire 4 not refilling the astral fire meter
Is it the last though? Off the top of my head, he could do crap guides for the sub-jobs like cook, armorer, potion making, etc. Or guides to the dungeons, or bosses. Sarcasm works to teach anything really, ask any stand-up comedian for life lessons and you'll learn as much as you laugh.
I'm happy with SMN, i can actually pay attention to mechanics.

Honestly learning spells from defeating enemies sounds really fun and I can see how it’d be broken if it’s allowed in boss raids when you can learn the spells that the boss is using to kick your teeth in XD

I'm very happy with Summoner since Endwalker. Love the class fantasy of summoning big boomy Primals.
Honestly, when Blue mage get’s reworked, I hope it becomes the tank mage. That way a full party could go Blue, Black, Red, and White Mages.

I be honest, I still favour BLM over the other Caster because of has an high Learning Curve.
You can see and feel getting better with this Job even if it should only be by 1% more Damage
