It's Just Good Business! | FFXIV Stormblood

Hope you enjoy this reaction vid. 😀

There’s a lot of important exposition when I was playing this part of the story, so surprisingly a lot of the editing had a lot of of non voice acted dialogue, and I had to read it aloud.. ehhe;; My voice acting isn’t that good, but I hope you enjoy the video regardless.

  1. Carvallain (the elezen pirate at the beginning) is kinda interesting, he was from a highborn family (one of the important families) in Ishgard, but couldn't stand highborn society and ran away to become a pirate captain. He appears now and then in small quests. Of all the pirate NPCs in Limsa I've interacted with, he's the most fair/honest of them all.

  2. Can't wait for the next part. Ruby Sea is one of my favorite zone for the exploration alone. Just like Sea of Clouds, there are some places here that can only exist in a fantasy world

  3. In my experience, its always the tank thats like "fuck you" and runs off to the boss despite me being in a cutscene. Even if I said it was my first time >_>

  4. So, fun fact about our trek across the ocean to kugane:
Gosetsu made the same trip in a dinky little rowboat the other direction (going to eorzea). That man paddled his ass between continents
We got a full pirate/merchant ship with a ceruleum engine to speed up the trip but realistically it still took over a month
Landing at sirensong was probably our first chance to let off some steam in ages after sitting in a boat with nothing to do but eat and talk

  5. A nice detail I like. When the response "Words are air, we will judge you by your deeds" is said, It's not just dismissing Alisae until we get results.

It is also an admission that opens up his previous stance of not striking or saving his comrades as again, words are air.

  6. Just a small Tip to use the Duty action button (smoke screen in this case) on a gamepad it would be to hold down L2 or R2 then press R3, good to know as it comes up every now and then and being able to do it fast is sometimes required
