It's Finally Time… – Getting Every Achievement in FFXIV #45

After avoiding it for three years, my Triple Triad ambitions have finally brought me to Blue Mage – Final Fantasy XIV’s most ridiculous job. So now I have to start from level 1 and collect spells from A Realm Reborn through Shadowbringers. What in the world have I gotten myself into?

  1. All right, if you've retaken up blue mage, that means I have to resume the grind. I got it to level 70 and got stuck on Sunset Bull-Evard. Time to go back to Blue Mage Academy.

  2. The combo of ignoring the job quest and the first spell Cider went for being Final Sting. The level grind while mobs with spells walk by in the background. Getting hit by Acorn Bomb once and calling it a dud while also getting bit by wolfs 37 times before giving up on it. A perfect video to drive Blue Mages insane. 10/10

  3. im sure a million ppl have told you by now but in case you are unaware, you just have to hit the mob and see them cast the ability you dont actually have to get hit by it! happy hunting, blu is lots of fun imo

  4. The fact that blue mage doesn't get marks on enemies you can learn things from like you do for Hunt Log targets is a fucking abomination, to be perfectly honest. Some of them are the most obnoxious garbage.

  5. Honestly that "complaint" of there being no real point to overworld enemies than just…mild harassment and a possible gearcheck, that's something i've been saying to friends for a good while. Overworld mobs just…dont matter outside of hunts and even then its like…why gate large chunks of EXP behind daily hunts? why not just like, halve or third the EXP gained from a hunt bill and apply it to every mob in the zone, increased slightly based on their level?

Tia knows it'd make leveling DPS classes faster given there's so many of them…
