  1. As the MSQ train nears the end. Just know I plan to continue doing FFXIV content on this YouTube channel – PVE raids, fun side content I did not get to try (glamour, fishing, crafting, housing, gold saucer etc. and many more). My Twitch streaming schedule will also be finalized over the next 1-2 weeks. I can finally stream more without fears of MSQ spoilers (:

  2. The Eden’s Promise boss is actually very well researched and designed, since her name in JP is Artemisia (FF8’s final boss supposedly correct name) and this design is based on a statue depicting Artemis in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples in Italy. Artemis is also Mitron’s real name (much like Loghrif’s being Gaia and Emet-Selch’s being Hades).

  3. I'm convinced Fandaniel will have an interesting character development. He's clearly hiding something. Emet-Selch was also a lunatic with very little interesting going on before Shadowbringers came out.

  4. Honestly, right after Shadowbringers (5.3) I disliked Fandaniel. A lot.
But after the coals have rested after the emotional and close-to-heart 'villains', now I see Fandaniel without comparing him to the Ascians.

And my goodness is he entertaining! Like he's living every moment he's there to the max!

  5. I don't understand. Y'all love Kefka, Sephiroth and other psychos but hate Fandaniel, even though we've just seen him in, like, two patches and almost nothing has been revealed about him yet.

  6. You can by the way always return to the Camp on Eden and enjoy the Music you heard, while you finish'd the Reunite scene from Gaia and Ryne. Its a Beautiful place to rest and hang around. Always reminds me on my Raiding Days when the Savage Tier released of it when im there. Eden is one of the beautiful time i had there, and im happy you enjoyed the Eden Road, and im awaiting your try on Savage! Enjoy the last after Patches of Shadowbringers! Lots of Love from Light Datacenter~

Also Fatebreaker is a mix on Rhan'jit and Thancred. I don't know if you saw the Gunblade there, but no worrys if you miss'd it.

  7. FF14 teached us to not to be judgmental, not to fall into that level of person, like the new WoW streamers prejudice the characters constantly since ARR mInFiLIa mOsT UsElEsS ChArAcTeR, YdA mOsT UsElEsS cHaRaCtEr, alphinaud UsEleSs gARbaGe, like BRO STFU AND KEEP GOING, and if you still think that minfilia is uselss after shadowbringers, or "yda" after stormblood, you have your own mental problems xd, don't fall into that point, lets see how it concludes and how these characters develop into, and as we learned, one thing is being only an antagonist being not the villain but the hero of your own story like emet selch or helidibus, meanwhile being a villain is like zenos, a psycopath trying to destroy the world to rejoice in battle as simple as that, a character that everyone hates, if you hate zenos or fandaniel so far, then the writers are doing a good job, because thats what a villain is, so don't be prejudgmental, otherwise you'll just get into the same mistakes that people do at ARR xd, this time worse considering you haven't learned anything about FF14 teachings so far.

  8. The Fatebreaker boss is an amalgamation of all the father figures in Ryne's life:
    • Its face, voice, and weapon is Thancred's
    • Its body is Ran'jit's
    • Its back is Vauthry's
That's why it says multiple lines attributed to Thancred and Ran'jit while you fight it.

  9. I trust the writers to make Fandaniel a bit more interesting than we have seen so far. After all, even Emet Selch was still a pretty shallow character until Shadowbringers.

  10. I'll explain the crystal mechanic from the final boss from Eden!
Basically, she tethers to two of the crystals representing different primals from previous fights, then combines their attacks.
For example, if she picks Ramuh and Leviathan, she'll do a near-range AoE (Ramuh) and a large AoE on either side with a middle safe spot (Leviathan).

  11. "Sister"? Quazii, the amount of romantic references and subtext in the last part of Eden's story are so in the face it's impossible to miss: the explosion of petal flowers is a direct reference to FF8 iconic escene featuring Rinoa and Squall, one very official romantic pairing. Nevermind the rainbow crystal in the background.

  12. All of the eden raids had some throwback to FF8, but the ending scene after E12 really hits the mark. Replace Ryne with Rinoa and Gaia with Squall and you pretty much got the ending of FF8.

  13. You actually passed the point where I left off in the story which is impressive and I hope the story has impacted you so far as much as it has for me! I'm gonna have to wait to watch the rest of these story highlights until i catch up myself but i love the content and your perspective! I'll definitely be tuned in as much as I can

  14. So the life cycle of the sundered ascian.
When they are "killed" their soul returns to the life stream where they are reborn as normal people for the most part. Then at some point another Ascian with come along to their brethren and give them a constellation Crystal similar to the ones you found in Amorot where they will regain their Memories as an Ascian.

  15. The whole final raid tier of Eden is a reference to the FF8 Ultimecia fight, mapping to the 4 phases that battle has. And the end sequence with Gaia being trapped in the dark and rescued by Ryne is almost a shot for shot recreation of the FF8 ending. I take it you didn't play 8 yourself? xD

  16. Any time you are asked for a password, wild rose is an option. It was the very first password in the game. It's usually very silly when you pick wild rose for the later ones and I highly recommend it!

  17. Welcome to current tier. Which also means welcome to the long wait for next MSQ lol. Remember Ga Bu has been like that for 4 or so years before we got this conclusion.

  18. If you haven't already i'd recommend doing a reacation to The full endwalker trailer as it was shown to us before 5.55 came out since there's information in the trailer that is a reveal for stuff you see in the game.

  19. I dont think Fandaniel is nihilist or mad. There is reason behind that theatre.
What remains uknown, but theres certainly more behind it than "i just want everyone dead".

  20. Although I was there for the memorable recovery Ga Bu experienced, every time I hear his voice, I am immediately filled with the ramblings of a victorian pauper child.
