I love everything this channel puts out, everything is entertaining and fun to watch for gamers and people who love to cook
When you take off big promise to still look for my comments my guy? I wanna be able to look back on the growth
That Starlight Dodo looks soooo goood! <3 You did an amazing job with the presentation, I was literally drooling at the end result. Feeling kind of mixed with this one. The WoW and Skyrim cookbooks both stuck with making the food look like it came from a fantasy setting and with the FF14 you've got the Starlight Dodo right next to baked fish with a picture that looks like it came out of any generic cookbook. I know it stays true to the source but couldn't they have gussied it up a little bit?
The fact me as a tank is "grabbing the bottle" if I don't get my heals fast enough really puts the universe of Final Fantasy into a new perspective.
never been this early to a vid, sick
This all looks fantastic! I'd also recommend the dnd cookbook Feast of Heroes! They've got some interesting meals in there, definitely worth a try!
Ooh maybe next the elder scrolls cookbook
Next time you cook a whole bird you might want to try the method called "spatchcock". It may not be authentic, but the results… Mmmmm!
Welcome to Eorzea, fellow Culinarian! We hope you enjoy your stay!
FFXIV is absolutely insane with worldbuilding and lore. Be it jokes or info tidbits, it all adds up so well.
And the food looks *so good*, ahah.
I actually run a store in-RP, and sell food items I made myself. Finger sandwiches, bubble chocolate, stews, etc.
If you're on the Aether DC, maybe I'll have to ask you to stop by, ahah.
Edit: I saw the Salmon muffin recipe for a second and wanted to say that, yes, I also have that! It is a pain to get the ingredients for! Fishing! Ahahahahah (help).
I genuinely have a 'problem'. I collect food in every game I play.
I loved the chanel but after descovering he's a asian i cant wach anymore
I just got this cookbook so I was hoping to see this pop up. XD
Question, where do you get the lavender? I know it has to be culinary lavender, I just haven't been able to find it.
The king uploads again.
Welcome to Eorzea!! o/ Just a long-time player topping by to say I hope you enjoy the journey, and that I really enjoyed your coverage of the cookbook!
As you head deeper into the game, I highly recommend re-visiting the little bits of Lore at the start of each recipe. They actually make all sorts of fun references to people and things in-game that'll make more sense the farther in you are.
(My personal favorite is the intro for hot chocolate. Whenever you get access to the Firmament in the game, check out the item description for each grade of Rock Salt, it's hilarious!)
Those mushroom skewers looked hella good, but idk about the lavender in the spices. Like just hearing the combination sounded odd. But I guess that was the point of a fantasy universe
Great game, great food, great channel!
I love these videos, great work dude!
"in a few weeks."
Literally next week.
Holy crap, your presentation of the food is so good!!!
anyone know where i can get some potion bottle like those?
thank you in advance
That duck looked delicious, kinda makes me think of a French recipe.
Great video, as per usual. The dodo looked so nice! I never made any kind of bird like this, how does the stuffing affect the taste of the meat?
Also on a semi-related note: have you considered checking out the Destiny 2 cookbook?
I.left a comment in one of your previous videos suggesting a review for this and you replied with "it was next on the list". I'm glad the book got a positive review considering i broke from anticipation last night and order my own. Awesome channel
Everything looks so good! The duck looked like it has abs 😆
Aw hell yeah! I was debating whether I should buy this but the recipes look real good.
loved it
Quick suggestion, will it be good if you make a short video consist of each recipes in cook books you purchased?
ever since finding your channel, and finding out ffxiv has a cookbook, ive been hoping youd make a video about it!! super nice video as always.
Yes, the cookbook is worth every penny.
The duck dodo is orangely yummy.
But where the heck can I buy those potion bottles?
Even if I don't cook my own food, I love these videos.
Could you check out the Tales of Arise cookbook?
Awesome video as always… Keep it up
I'd be down for a revisit of past game cookbooks where you make 3 of the other recipes.
I was waiting for this one nice content
Thank you so much for covering final fantasy food
Uh, you learn the world through the game and then make the food… I don't know, that comment was a bit weird, but then again as you stated in the beginning of the video you haven't played it much.
The colours are absolutely gorgeous in these meals!
yay!!!!!! i'm so happy you enjoyed it, and you had fun with it. i hope you are having fun with FF14 and that as it goes on you get more involved with the lore and everything the game has to offer. i'm really excited to go over the recipes with my fiancé and cook them together. here's to hoping you have great adventures in eorzea! : )
One of the things I love about the book is not only do they have really wonderful and interesting recipes, but the flavour text atop actually does have text of Gyohan and Mogria meeting different characters through the story. And as someone who has finished the main story line, it made me so happy to know that main story characters and job characters even pop up in the story. Cant wait to try cooking some with my own book soon!
I'd LOVE to see you do breakfast, dessert, and maybe even snacks from this cookbook if it has them.
Also, good on this cookbook for giving instructions on perfect duck. I feel like nothing is more disappointing than tough and dry poultry. That glaze sounds like it'd be awesome on not just duck, but also turkey and chicken.
Can we see the hearthstone book? And overwatch too
I'm looking into buying the Studio Ghibli and Legend of Zelda cookbooks. I might have to look into this one now too!
Does it have Archon Loaf? The game makes it sound like the worst stuff ever, but feels to me like it could go well with some cheese, malt vinegar, and a dash of Old Bay.
