Over the last 3 days I haven't seen a queue longer than 35
Louisoix has a queue of 40.. It's great.
The server I'm on has been around 1700 average. Which is better than in the past.
I seem to be able to get on relatively quickly now on Light, at most times of the day 200 has been the longest
I had a que of 129 at 1pm pst yesterday. Seems way better. I haven't tried to log in during prime-time
Primal/Excalibur had a queue of 1,100 at prime time yesterday. It was at 5,000 a couple of weeks ago.
I think they do need a few new worlds (at least one per data center, possibly 2 for Aether).
I know there's still high ques on other servers
I think that maybe Tuesdays might be hard for a while as folks are waiting for weekly resets to get their weekly raid piece for their tome weapon.
Increasing chi’s spawn rate would also help a lot of congestion. And crystal has almost gone back to normal it seems, 30-70 person que every time I’ve tried to log in for about 4 days now
Had a queue of 6 on Christmas on Aether. Was fantastic!
Idk about anybody else but even during Christmas weekend, the servers have been great. I’ve probably waited no more than 5 mins vs the week Endwalker was released.
The highest queue I’ve been in as of now is low 2k. Even then, it’s about 1.5hr time and I’ve always been able to get in. The 2002 for me has been gone (knock on wood)
Yeah Faerie has been a pretty smooth queuing process over the holiday weekend, and the queues have been getting faster.
Er, wait, no, I mean, FAERIE'S CLOSED DO NOT COME AND ENJOY OUR SHORTER QUEUES
So on coeurl this past weekend and pretty much the week have had sub 100 queues
The queues were 20-70 these past 3 days but from today on there were 700+. The whole reason it was so low was because it's around Christmas, the next few days it will be going up again.
Over the Christmas holiday, on Couerel my queues times were about 89 people in the evenings, which is the old normal for me. I imagine once the holidays are over, and Savage raiding comes back, that number will increase but it's been nice thus far 🙂
I know this is a FF14 video, but FF16 has been delayed by 6 months.
I know that "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad."
~ Shigeru Miyamoto, however, I am confused by Yoshi-P's particular statement:
“This has unfortunately hampered communication from the Tokyo office, which, in turn, has led to delays in — or in extreme cases, cancellations of — asset deliveries from our outsource partners.”
Brian, if you see this comment, how has COVID actually impacted the communication from SQUEX themselves? That's the part I'm confused about. Can you guess?
If FF16 already had a game development team that encompassed game developers from both Japan and all over the world, we can assume that time zones would be a major issue, but I'm also going to assume that SQUEX would've known how to handle that. According to Jason Schreier, a Bloomberg video game journalist, by 2020 FF16 had been in development for 4 years, and they didn't start hiring a lot of people until 2018-2019.
By 2020 SQUEX would've known how to communicate with all of the game devs living in different countries. COVID could've caused a hiccup in terms of SQUEX creating a new company procedure in how to deal with COVID, and it would've taken awhile for them to get approved by the Japanese government, but communication from SQUEX to the FF16 team wouldn't have changed pre nor during COVID.
Been having good Q’s on Primal. No luck finding a starter edition PS4 copy for my daughter. :-/
I JUST WANNA PLAY THE GAME!
I've got tickets to weeb paradise! Pack your bags with shrimp and rice!
I love your content brother, and have followed you since HW. But please don’t recommend FFXIV to new folks if you can. It leads to a larger queue, and then new folks bashing this beautiful game because of it, and then the negative stigma that follows.
Also, try to get a one on one interview with Yoshi P. If Asmongold who joined a month ago could, you should have had the top spot.
My queues have went down a lot they were up to like 7000 now no matter what time I log in the queue is only like 30 or less
On light-eu there are no more queues.
I haven't had any lobby errors in past week or so, but I have experienced alot of in game lag during duties and experiencing other players getting d/c.
I decided to take a break. I haven't started the MSQ so maybe mid to late January I'll give it a go
I've been really luck as I haven't had a queue higher than 50 since last Wednesday for Couerl on Crystal. I've been logging in at all different times too. (probably just jinxed myself)
Hey, Brian! I hope you and your family had a great Christmas! And please tell Chris i hope the same for him and his wife! You guys be safe and stay blessed!
My experience so far in Elemental DC has become better since most of the player base has completed the MSQ, but….. For the last 4 days, some, if not most players in Tonberry has experienced a terrible lags & frequent Error 2002 while queuing. By terrible, I mean 3-5 seconds of latency. Sometimes it spiked to 10 seconds, and then we were being disconnected. From what I know, there’s a problem with the undersea cable within northern Southeast Asia regions that caused this issue to be happening right now. That’s a bummer since that kinda problem will take quite a while to be resolved
1650, more than an hour, i regret resubbing to this pile of crap
the past couple days during the holidays have been great queue wise, and i’m on Gilgamesh where there’s always a pretty large queue.
On crystal/brynhildr the queues ive been running into lately are 17/20 at the lowest and 200 at the highest… but I’m also an east coast player so generally I don’t experience what they considered peak hours cause those usually fell later in the evening/night.
Have not tried today but have had no issues on easy coast servers
I haven't seen a queue under 1700 people since pre-release. That's 3 hours on the low side. Long story short – I haven't been able to play since the pre-release. Beginning to consider canceling the sub for six months or so until more servers or less people. I'll be back; love the game. Quite irritated about not being able to play during my vacation time over the holidays tbh. Is there a way to load onto a low population server? If they haven't done that it's a HUGE screwup in my opinion… it's something they could do w/o hardware.
I've not known any other content creator do as many videos on servers and login queues as you. You're obviously free to make the content you wish, but seriously? We are into the teens pretty much in server queue videos on this channel alone.
6.1 should actually have another surge because it's the beginning of the next storyline.
Queues on Crystal – Malboro have been virtually non-existent since pretty much the second or third weekend. And this is regardless of login time.
I'm in exodus didn't wait long
Things has improved significantly with just que time no more then 600, which only about a 10-15 minute wait time here on Balmung Server
On EU servers 1000k = around 1h during primetime. How the situation really is now is something I will notice when we are past the hollidays, most I have seen these past days is 160 but I would be surprised if that is still the case when people are back home after christmas and new years.
I had a good time the whole last week, never more than 400 in queue. Might be an outlier but it's been pretty good getting on so far
On Crystal my queue times have been like pre-EW the last week or so. Not sure what other data centers are experiencing, but I seem to have returned to something like normal. I logged in tonight and my queue was only 43 people. Took about a minute to get in.
Casca Youruichi says “Merry Xmas and Bahumbug
B.S I’m still getting DC in te middle of content error 9005 after waiting at least 2 hours to get on
Feel like Serena Williams when they iced her in her debut into the pro tennis tournament I’m hot dps starting to flow and dc
I’m trying to build my medium sized house 😂 buy my lq crap 😂
Not much of a raider i suck I m grinding out all my classes and plan to play new game plus from 0-90
I got charged for my month recently idk why I didn’t get the extra two weeks I only got one
I joined FFXIV before Heavensward launched left after Stormblood launched came back after Shadowbringers. I play on Mateus and was part of a FC back in the day. Mateus now seems to have mower queues this past week. Highest has been just over 1100 on the weekend. I have gotten a lot of queues less than 100.
A few weeks ago it was rough, better now.
Ironically I am looking to transfer worlds to a more social and active community. As my FC is no more upon returning and friends left Mateus or the game.
I have heard good things and Lamia, Fairie, and Sargetarus. Any suggestions? Especially with a fun community flexible to parents and interested in endgame.
