Jesse has spoiled not only Jupiter Ascending, but also, as of today, the end of the nier raids for me 😂
This explains why I really enjoyed the MSQ while others did not. I love Jupiter Ascending.

I also noticed a significant similarity between the plot of Shadowbringers and….I think it's season 2 of Rising of the Shield Hero? When they encounter the group of "Other Heroes" from another reality, who were told they had to come to the Shield Hero's reality and kill them, to save their own reality from destruction. And that this was ultimately a lie by a manipulative megalomaniac, with his own plans for control and domination. And they both came out (the anime anyway, not sure when the manga was published) in the same year.

Fine, I'll watch that train wreck of a movie
A lot of people are trashing this expansion but I like it. Yeah it was a little slow but it picked up at the end and I like the characters, even if Wuk is kinda cringe. But it's starting a new story arch and just like ARR it's kinda boring in the beginning. They have to basically build a new world so to speak. The beginning of a book is never as good as the ending.
