  1. You're still awhile out. But some spoiler-free advice. Make sure you complete the Stormblood raid (the 8-man raid) before you start Endwalker. You will miss some crucial story stuff otherwise.

  2. I didn't watch the video yet but just commenting just from the title alone. To me, I love all the expansions. Some expansions are just more intriguing/captivating and pulls you in more. I think of ARR, HW, SB, ShB and EW as chapters of a great book, a story that has a beginning, middle and end.

    As for ARR, what I hate when people say to rush it or that it's a boring and the fun really starts at Heavensward, they have to realize that ARR was being built in 2 to 2 and a half years with half the development team. To me, that's a big accomplishment and not something that should be skipped just because, in your opinion, it's a slugfest. It's like saying "OMG PS4 was so much better than PS3, don't even bother with that system." And once they've seen the success of ARR, a lot of weight lifted from the team's shoulders and now they can focus on making the game even better. If ARR was made today with the knowledge they know now, I can bet you that it'll be so good.

  3. I hope you look forward to Shadowbringers and Endwalker. It does what Heavenward does, it builds upon the previous expansion. Stormblood is considered another "ARR" world building expac as it fleshes out the far east and the people just like in ARR.

    But once ShadowBringers hit around, they mastered the ability to introduce world building while telling a heart wrenching and emotional punching story. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, but enjoy Stormblood too, while some people call it the "weakest" expac, it is still a diamond. When you compare Stormblood to HW, ShB, and EW… it's like comparing diamond and saying the diamond with the least shine is the lesser value diamond, but all the expac are diamond story telling in MMOs.

  5. Both very good but I preferred ARR. ARR doesn't get enough credit and it's more often made out to be a slog, which wasn't my experience.

    I felt like a few parts of HW dragged as there were a lot more voiced cutscenes, which I won't skip. In ARR, they were mainly text only so they could be speed read and done. Made it feel like I was spending most of my time watching and not enough playing.
