You can level up to 90 with pictomancer or viper in Bozja without any gear upgrades, and without tanks or healers before the story quests.

Will levequests be a good for leveling up gatherers/crafters too?
I was hoping to switch to dps for this expansion (black mage or ninja)but I think I’ll stick to healing since the queues for dps will be excruciating.
will materia IX be useless for pentamelds come Dawntrail?
Obviously the proper way level new jobs it to do the unlock quest and immediately queue into 85+ dungeons.
