Playing through ARR base expansion is by far one of the most boring experiences you can have. Would highly recommend boosting to Heavensword. I cant imagine somebody enjoying that many fetch quests.
If u come play ffxiv, be welcome. Play whatever u want and be happy, games are to be funny 😉

I remember when WoW was popular everyone who played was pushy with me joining them. All because WoW is garbo at the moment WoW players dont push it on people.

I wouldn’t boost honestly. Biased opinion I’m sure. But here is why. Boosting will take you up to the beginning of shadow prayers. I think there might be a lesser one that will take you to the end of heavensward. Either way you look at it though, he would be skipping the heavensward! Expansion, arguably the best expansion of the game currently aside from shadowbringers. Stormblood is still decent but in terms of stuff it’s probably the weaker of the three I would say. It doesn’t mean it’s bad but yes there’s a Lotta good stuff in Hevensward.
So I looked around and anyone who has played wow since the early 2000s have said FF14 ARR is roughly a 6+ out of 10…
So if we are expecting this guy to think it crap… His expectations have already been lowered by WoW.
Blizzard will make a good game again when WOW becomes VR in first person

FFXIV ARR is actually good. Idk why people say it's the worst part. It's maybe the least good because I've heard the expansions are even better.

Who? Who says that? How would you experience the story if you boost? Granted A Realm Reborn is a little slow in places, and Heavensward is better… But like you can't care about Heavensward without A Realm Reborn.

Good on you bro, there are so many people do not want to try new stuff because they are afraid that the game that they are playing now (eg.WoW) isn't good but the new game is better (eg.FFXIV). It is okay to have a game better than your game. It is just another game. No need to be jealous or ragey. If you don't like it great, if you like it great. Either way at the end of the day, all you have to do is to enjoy yourself playing the game.
