  1. The doggos you got are actually Stormblood mounts, which is why we were all like "….HOW?"

Re: Urianger: The reason why he sounds that way is because in Japanese, they all speak normal Japanese but Urianger speaks a slightly antiquated version. But since they already went antiquated with the English version that had to throw him even FURTHER back.

And yes, I love the animations. I seriously lol'd during this original video. <3

    Forge ahead my friend!

  2. Seeing cutscenes and characters from further in the game really bug me. I know you don't have context for any of it, but it just feels wrong.

There are 'more' voice acted scenes, but still a hefty amount of just reading. They only get more and more plentiful as the expansions go though.

  3. If you want sephiroth sword, there's an item named Odenta Kai you get from a lv70 weapon coffer. Its a dark knight weapon. Im not sure if you can buy that weapon, but if you cant, then that will be the only chance for you to get it.

  4. That dungeon section of the video really just sounds like you want the higher level dungeons. They aren't as hard as say Ultimate Trials, but they are much more difficult than those in ARR. ARR dungeons are really there to teach some basics, test that you know them and then as you go through expansions you'll the difficulty harder than those in ARR. Those you'll also have been improving so they won't feel as hard.

  5. Ultimates are boss gauntlets, a 20 min fight vs multiple bosses the hardest encounters developed for any mmo. The 1st one was released stormblood (70) you need to clear the savage raids to unlock them but yeah thats the most difficult content in the game along with criterion savage (90).

As far as narrative goes, the writers dont create cheap drama like a cw show so should factor that into your predictions 🙂

  6. That extreme dungeon experience you're talking about sounds a LOT like criterion or criterion savage. Those are new super hard dungeons this expansion, so it'll be a long way until you see them, but it was also one of the first systems confirmed for DT, so sounds like they're here to stay.

  7. As far as your comment about how maybe there is or isn't love tension between Yshtola and Thancred, you're not the only one struggling to place that vibe.

My favourite pure headcanon fan theory for it is that they had an intense teen romance for like a week years and years ago, have both moved on but can't resist the occasional side comment.

  8. every expansion has its own unique "accept quest" and "complete quest" music. the same with some special events, like the FF15 crossover has music from that game. the amount of voiced cutscenes do increase in HW, and continue to increase as you get deeper into the expansions.

  9. Well they want everyone to feel welcome in dungeons so your hard content isnt going to be in the random roulettes. Though they exist in Criterion dungeons, which have a storymode, normal and savage versions. with savage being the one with the most punishing mechanics, like if you die you are dead until the party wipes which then resets the entire dungeon. hopefully you are not the type who claims to want hard content but really just want an exclusive goodie bag at the end to flex on people.

as for the roulette dungeons, they do get more intricate as the expansions wind on, including some style mechanics that would previously be more raid mechanics than dungeon mechanics. when you get more game progression, they do start to expect more from you as a player, slowly but surely. an ARR dungeon is defintely not the same beast as an EW dungeon.
