If it's not obvious this is my OPINION and what i have observed over the FFXIV community.
Please be civil but i would like to hear your thoughts and opinions of this topic OR what you have seen or heard.

Damn, if only I could've enjoyed a nice cup of those salty tears to sip while I watched this.
When Dynamis first opened there was an entire discord set up for the express purpose of griefing the housing bids. People were moving alts they didn't care for and targeting any small plot with a bid on it. Which in turn resulted in most of the plots not being bid on while a good chunk of the serious bids being displaced by those acting in bad faith. Thankfully they got bored and many of us managed to snag houses unopposed on the third cycle, but all the prime plots are now taken up by people who have zero intention of ever playing on the data center. There should be a 1 house per account rule.

Let these drama kings and drama queens have their fun. They'll slip up and be dealt with soon enough.
Griefing is reportable, whether it be thru gameplay or actions or trying to bully someone from bidding on a house by having large mounts obstructing the placard which never worked in the first place.
And people wonder why I hate this community. "But everyone is so nice!", yeah skin deep frail cunts.
I've been a part of this community since arr and there's been a lot of stupid drama and bs. Yeah i admit I've been a part of it too in my early years because i didn't know any better (ffxiv was my first mmo) but since then, I've learned to ignore it (especially social media) and stay out of it. Focus on what matters. Ignore the rest.

Been playing this game for nine years now? The FFXIV's willingness to weaponize the report feature is flooring to me.
Its one of the two communities that I see constantly looking to baiting responses to "report" The other community is twitter. Do we really wanna have that kinda optics?
