  7. The thing soken was holding up was the flag at the end of a note. So he made an otomatone out of himself. His head was the otomatone head (note head) his arm was the stem and then he was holding up the flag. Since you play an otomatone by sliding your finger on the stem, he used his other arm to slide along the arm used as a stem to show that he is playing himself.

  9. About how the maths boss works.
    Your health gets reduced to some number, in your case 5.
    There are platforms that add health to your healthbar. So the 1 platform means you will have 5+1=6 health, the 2 platform means you eill have 5+2=7 health etc.
    Then the boss will either say "calibrating vitals to multiples of 5" (or some other number) or "calibrate vitals to primes"

    "Multiples of 4" means your HP needs to be divisible by 4 and still be a whole number. So e.g. 5/4=1.25 so 5 would be wrong, but 8/4=2 do 8 would be correct. With your 5 and you needing multiples of 4 you would need to stand on the 3 platform because 5+3=8 and 8 is dividable by 4.
    Primes are numbers that can only be divided by 1 and themselves. This means 2, 3, 5, 7, 11 etc. So if you have 6hp like you had in the video then you want 1 to get to 7.

  14. Fun little history about the quest to unlock the raid. Normally you get the quest to save the moogle from some very angry chocobos. They were pretty strong for the patch, but as long as you dodge their one-shot meteors and have decent gear they're just a benchmark to see if you're ready for the raid. HOWEVER, when this came out you had every single player doing this quest and spawning their chocobos at the same time, which meant Yanxia was buried in corpses. There are meme videos of this incident.

  15. Ever since Soken wrote Shadowbringer’s music while dealing with LITERAL CANCER, my policy is “that man can do whatever he wants, he’s goddamn SOKEN”
    If he wants to play anything on the otomatone, or sing an off-key rendition of (redacted for spoilers,) we let him. He’s earned it.
