  1. My biggest experience with FF14 is the FF14 In A Nutshell videos from Rabtoons and we haven't met Emet Selch yet (he was seen early in a gag about long queues but he didn't do anything) but I'm eager for the series to get to him. He sounds fun.

  2. Not very familiar with the source material, but Dream of the Blue Veil might make more sense than Plane Shift. I was under the impression that the "alternate realms" in FF14 are more like other material planes rather than something like the planes you can reach with Plane Shift.

  3. Hey Tulok, saw your tweet and felt bad for not watching your content this month. Did a custom sub to your patreon, but I don't really know technology, so…ummm Merry Christmas and thanks for all your amazing work

  4. Ah Thancred… the True Hero of FF14….
Anything The WoL can do, Thancred can do better.
If FF14 weren't an MMO Thancred would be the player.
Honestly, WoL is the special Snowflake McGuffin that Thancred needs to keep safe and alive so they can do their one fated thing before Thancred can step back in and save the day.
If Thancred isn't available then it's Yshtola.
The Mighty Cat Boy and Little Elf Twin… eh, they're useless…

  5. I never realized they potential of basing Gunbreaker mechanics off of Paladin smite and spell slots as cartridges, thanks for opening my eyes with Dadcred, Tulok! I loved this episode!

  6. A funny thing about Thancred's mechanical growth over time is he started out as a Gladiator, the precursor class to Paladin. He has a stint after Rogue is added where he "goes back to his roots" but in almost every scene he is a Rogue he seems to keep taking physical damage way more often than you'd expect. He basically started the game as a tank, switched to a dps but kept trying to pull mobs until he got his fat deeps beaten out of him so he went back to tanking. Aside from some stealth stuff here and there, his entire combat strategy is to get kicked in the nards so hard the person kicking him dies of exhaustion.

I don't hate Thancred, he's a good dude. I just find that really funny.

  7. I love that for the Emet-Selch build, his 20th level is Artificer, meaning that his capstone ability is "Gun."
Also, I would love to see you do Elidibus as the Warrior of Light, or just the FF1 Warrior of Light as a build.

  8. I would honestly be impressed if Tulok ever tried to make the Meteor Survivor as a build. I think it would take roughly six different videos for each class as to do it in one would be the longest video he would have made at this point

  9. I going to be that guy Tulok but there is a different from Emo and Goth, according to South Park, Emo wants to die, Goth want everyone else to die, that why in real life no one scare of Emo but in the 1990s everyone was scared of the Goth listening to Marilyn Manson😂

  10. Love seeing FFXIV builds! I feel like Armorer is another good class for gunbreaker, as you could flavor the lightning gauntlet as a gunblade and get a built in taunt.
