  1. I'm a WAR only player (done most savages), how easy will it be to pick up the DRK compared? (I play on controller).

WAR feels extremely comfortable, but I dunno if that just due to me playing the class for so long.

  2. I'd love videos on ogcd drift, lining up buffs, and getting max usage out of all your skills in the timeline of a fight. Thanks for the great content xeems

  3. See at least xeno tells the truth, mrhappy was saying all the tanks are the same, or something like that which I don’t understand. I think paladin and gunbreaker are by far the best tanks in the game right now. I feel like dark knight is the most lacking tank right now, any thoughts on this or am I not understanding something?

  4. You Xenosys are the Man. Tell you all a story of a Warrior Tank that sat in a party for A11S with a party trying to clear it for 5 hours. Let me type that again 5 FREAKING HOURS. He didn't stress it, got everyone to hang in there and after the party disbanded reached out to the off-tank who was lacking seriously in the dps department. Simply telling him to practice his rotation and as long as he did clearing savages would not be an issue as he saw that Off-tank atleast was able to get through the fight on multiple occasions clean. Cause of him I have kept clearing savages and instilled a rule to never kick anyone due to dos issues. I even went as far as never installing ACT. To this day I don't touch that stuff and I am humble enough not to even bother with Ultimates cause I know my dps rotation and efficacy sucks. Still from a guy who you thought to love the savage training dummies. Thank you and keep these videos coming. You are the best.

  5. Xenos gotta thank you again about punching "the norm" in the face. I always ask "ok what do I do after an opener" the answer "uh, jisr do it again because the fight should be over"

  6. I know this is a DRK specific guide, but most "duration" buffs want to be used as "secondary/late" weaves to fit the max number of GCDs. Can definitely generalise to most CDs for most jobs.

  7. literally since shadowbringers, Blood weapon has been so fucking stupid compared to delirium. I never have to worry about getting 5 in delirium but blood weapon is so jank because of the animation.

  8. You can delirium and blood weapon at 2.43 but you need not to clip and use it as secondary oGCD, you have litteraly 0 freedom, if you're just a tiny bit late you can't put the fifth one. ^^

  9. Noone talks about this, but isn't the reason for spamming in macros because macros don't queue for half a second like abilities normally do. If you spam, it will read one line per frame so the game has a larger window to register it if it's not ready at the exact time you press it?

Thought that might get people less confused about the (un)responsiveness of macros

  10. Imagine if BLM's Triplecast had a duration of 5 seconds. That would be the same as Blood Weapon.
If SE made Blood Weapon affect the next 5 Weaponskills or Spells this wouldn't be an issue at all.

  11. Hey man, I'm a fresh lvl 80 and I've tanked before(in other games) so my friends got me full exarchic(I know its probably not crazy but I didn't have the GIL) and I want to repay them by not being a shit tank. I appreciate these honest "Here's why this fucking sucks/why this works better" guides. Thanks for putting it in such a blunt, easy to understand way. I've done a bit of prog of Titania yesterday and these tips made a visible difference in how good I was.

Thanks a lot and I can't wait for part 3

  12. Legit did a double-take on Unleash's 2.50, then I checked my hotbar. Why the fuck does DRK have a spell?! I run on 2.37 so I thought Unleash feeling slower was just animation throwing me off, but it's actually a spell. Fuuuck dude.

  13. The DRK rework was definitely interesting but lazy in a few ways, the leftover of Spells being one of them. In the olden days DRK was the actual Melee caster of the bunch. Dark side was a stance that continually drained your MP and spells consumed your MP as well.
Nowadays tho I can think of no reason for those vestigial pieces to stay around unless they bring back old blood weapon that, btw, decreased weaponskill and spell speeds and recast by 10% on top of the current effects. Oh btw it lasted 15s as well.
