i remember SE doing this for the new oceanic servers a couple years back. 1mil gil + 15 extra free days added to your account. i thought this was a limited time thing. so cool of SE to do this.
Yeah i was watching a friend play who just started the game, and noticed that she got 1mil gil outta nowhere, i was like what the hell lol

So since I created my first character on non-boosted server, could I theoretically create an alt character on boosted server, get to level 30 and get my playtime reward and 1 mil gil on that character?

The Oceanic servers have been new for over a year, any new alts created there still have the road to 80 boost whereas existing alts moved from other servers only have this bonus for 90 days. I've noticed that the new servers on the North American servers have been filling up faster and will likely lose their new status sooner than those on the Oceanic servers. The 1 mil gil for reaching level 30 on a new alt happens every time new server are added to a data center. I got it when the Oceanic servers were started, then the new Euro servers and again when the new servers were added on the NA data center. Also beware the term account bound, you notice that the alt limit doesn't say it's limited to 1 account but rather one data center and there are 4 of those. I created extra alts as a test to see it it doe's go past 40 alts and it did if done across different data centerd
Do you have to be subbed to get this? Because im on a new server and am Level 53 but havent got any of the rewards however im on the free trial
i did this recently and was so confused, was tempted to do it again on a different new world but its a one-off lol
