Feel like this was a fun thing to discuss with the viewers on my stream and I honestly think the range of accessibility in FFXIV goes BEYONDDDDD, Especially preparing for savage raids – the barrier of entry is close to non-existant if you just play the game and learn/invest into your job. Extremely beginner friendly and accessible for all.
I just cleared my first current savage tier and got my first ever BiS set, and I would consider myself to be a casual player. I was invited to my FC's static to fill their healer slot, and it's been so fun! It was pretty easy for me to just jump in and get caught up to where they were. Of course I imagine that progging in PF would be a lot more frustrating. But if you have a static that you work well with, it can be a blast! Even if it takes forever. XD
