  1. Glamour system improvements or go homes. Housing deserves some love as well, but being able to not worry about glamours would allow people to have more appearance customization options.

  2. I 100% agree with the idea of the Unreal staying for the whole expansion. I don't see any technical reason why they couldn't do it since the ilevel sync stays the same. Just have the older ones maybe require more clears for the leve cards, maybe?

  4. Giving options to change interior layout ***check***
Giving us Island Sanctuary instead of more housing like players asked for ***check***
Abandoning pointless (Island Sanctuary) content in 7.0 ***check***

    Repeat cycle as needed

  5. i feel red mage, my main will get a donut aoe finisher tacked onto the scorch, resolution, etc. combo, get a 10 potency upgrade to its rotation ( veraero 4/verthunder 4), and 2 charges of magiked barrier

  6. Think I'll finally try and finish Eden. I've let a few side-quest nods in msq pass me by quite alot during Endwalker and felt a bit bad about it, so even if this is a tiny little blurb I still want it to see it. Hopefully there will be enough folks with similar thoughts in duty finder.

  7. Just make housing private instances! I have been playing since it was released on the ps3 and i STILL cant get a house. No more housing updates until there is the ability for everyone to easily get their own house.

  8. Definitely gonna see big job changes in 7.0. Samurai, Red Mage, Gunbreaker, Dark Knight, probably others, you can't feasibly add anything there without it just being overwhelming, and they even have issues stemming from what was added in Endwalker. Samurai has to put in filler due to ogi namikiri offsetting its rotation, Gunbreaker has the occasional awkward burst where you have to gnashing fang before no mercy, red mage constantly drifts ogcd alignment due to the new finisher, Dark Knight is a mess of ogcds.

as someone that enjoys gunbreaker and dark knight but is frustrated by how they are in EW, I'm hoping we get some cool changes

  9. For the love of god, just give White Mage a skill repass. Give them access to lilies, their class identity by 50. Give them a spender like Misery when they get their other lilies and please, PLEASE take away freecure. That's my only 7.0 wishlist for WHM. Do it like Monk is right now, where the skill just upgrades as you go along.

  10. You know what would be cool? If we could actually upgrade a house plot, instead of having to buy a bigger plot that you may or may not ever be able to get… would also aliviate the housing crisis 😂 And buly having a bigger variation of house exteriors we wouldn’t have to worry about all houses looking the same…

  11. They said they did a bit more than usual with the branching path whatever if you do Eden and role quests or not. I expecting something similar to the Ragnarok preparation where we see those characters being part of the story.

  12. Really hope they shift the job rotations and actions into a better direction. Some jobs built for and only for the 2 minute meta feel mediocre at best outside of a boss fight because so much of their skillset focus on a long battle with one enemy. While an aoe is kinda there, the biggest weakness is when flow of combat is not constant (i.e. killing an enemy quickly, then moving on, like in dungeons and deep dungeons). For example, some dps jobs suffer if their dot is placed mid-combo (i.e. MNK, DRG) or if the duration to gain full effectiveness is too long (BRD) to be used on trash.

  13. what you said on new rotations is kinda a fail comment to me.

since 6.0's new actions didn't really change the rotation that much for many jobs, it just tacked something onto the existing rotation.

for me 1 of the more noteable was PLD, where in 5.x PLD would go into Requiescat, use 4 holy spirits > confiteor and that's it, back to the 1, 2, DoT combo.
in 6.0 instead of going back to the DoT combo you had 3 more magic spells to use after Confiteor, did this change my rotation at all? nope, because you would just use the new magic buttons instead of 1-2-3.

RDM to my knowledge didn't change much, but granted i was just casually doing RDM in 5.x and i mained it in 6.x, so my memory might be hazy.

I hope they spice jobs up a lot more between expansions now, because adding a few new buttons and thinking that "changes a job" is such a piss poor take from Yoshi, remember when Scholar was shown in the endwalker trailer and everyone was like "what's new" turned out it was expedience, which don't get me wrong is an amazing ability, but was this worthy of an expansion level change ability type of deal? nope. (atleast if you can see it coming and don't run into the wall because you normally don't have sprint speed there)

or how they showed the shotgun AOE for MCH, although cool, was this something we had to see in a trailer for MCH? nope, this just showed that they had no idea what to do with jobs for the new expansion.

same with Warrior, although the monkey flip was a cool addition, the only other new thing was the AOE CD of upheavel, was this an expansion level of change? again, nope.

so stating "well, rotations will change for jobs in 7.0" kinda falls on deaf ears to me, he said something like this before and instead we got 1-3 abilities here and there.

i'm not expecting a rework for every job every expansion, but each job should change in some meaningful way from expansion to expansion, not just "do your previous expansion rotation but add this button onto this" (looking at you double down from GNB)
hope they nail it, because post 6.0 content has been abysmal and i love the game, so i want it to be the best it can be, but endwalker post launch felt really weak to me, I get that they were divided between FF14 and FF16, but as an FF14 player for literally 6+ years now, I feel scammed knowing that they basically used my time to put that into FF16 development, because Yoshi thought it was a smart idea to have his holy mission (getting the single player crowd into an MMO space, not going to happen as he invisioned, they would have to re-design the trials aswell and make trusts for that, hopefully they won't because some of the dungeon changes are so piss poor that it makes me sad)
and of course FF16s development being pushed more into the forefront since that was heading torwards completion, so we as loyal FF14 players got the short end of the stick with content that's not inovative, lasts for 1-3 weeks (except savage and ultimate) and ultimately content so very few people care about that it's curious why they're still pushing it for more content.

Island Sanctuary is 1 of those, most people quickly get their dailies done and piss off, in 6.5's being randomized isn't going to do it any favors and people will just drop it altogether.
PvP still being worked on is baffling, each season lives for 1-4 weeks depending howmuch people want to grind and then it dies out till the next major patch, i get that it has a dedicated community, but that's so small that it's baffling that they're actually sticking resources into it aside from a skeleton crew.

Also heard somewhere (unconfirmed by myself, but i wouldn't be surprised) that they would never do a Deep Dungeon and an exploration zone in the same expansion.
my reaction: why? it's not like FF14 is literally the ONLY thing keeping this shithole of a company afloat right now.
sure FF16 sold well, but FF16 didn't recover the lost of their recent 2 failures, that marvel game and another game, FF7 Rebirth is still a good while away, but it's FF14 actively keeping this company afloat, yet they neglect this game way more than it should, also the requirements for this job as a dev, be at where the SE HQ is and speak Japanese, instead of broadening the search for more devs and have different teams work on different things all supervised by Yoshi.

  14. I wish Unreals just stayed in general. I've only just managed to get into trying them out with Zurvan just as he went away and I didn't get the chance to clear it in the end. So that's just gone. Could've been fun to do Sephirot at high level. Could, don't know, couldn't tell you

  15. I been saying that I want them to shift some skills around a bit on a lot of jobs. Because some jobs feel pretty horrible to play at level 50 and below. More so when synced.
Like with perfect balance at level 50. It has really no use without beast chakra. Either move the beast chakra down or move it to a level where it starts having some use. I'd rather have form shift at level 50 or lower.
Another example is why does sage have their partner ability at level partner ability at level 4. But dancer has to wait till level 60. It feels weird and sort of wrong considering that is an ability that is important to how dancer works.

Basically look at how the jobs play and move skills around to give skills at lower levels that are core to the rotation or play style.
Summoner as it is now is a good example. Most of your core skills are usable in some way at level 50. Beyond that it is just expanding and giving more skills to weave in while increasing the difficulty of the job.
Designing the skill unlocks like this would mean that all jobs feel more similar to how they play from the start.

I'm not really a black mage player but trying it feels like you are playing a completely different job at level 30, 50, 60, 70, 80, and level 90. After reaching every end game for each expansion it feels completely different than before. And that might not be enjoyable for some people.
Although black mage players might be able to say more about this than me.

  16. Do we think the "changing columns" thing will also include just having an option for plain blank walls in your home? I like modern style housing and having to place plain walls segments all over the existing walls to cover the (in my opinion) ugly wooden beams and panelling is such a bummer. It wastes time, item limit and space in my already small enough house. If anything, an option to renovate your walls with different styles would be great too especially since at the moment your wall style is predetermined by your housing location. This limits your creativity depending on which zones have housing space left. (For me, I will never live outside of the Lavender Beds but man do those houses have ugly walls ;n; )

  17. I like Unreal staying lagging behind by a couple expansions. Part of the appeal to me is getting to experience a trial "on- content" that i wasnt around for back in the day. If trials that are last expansion return, it just feels too soon and not different enough.

  18. so, FF7 Remake, cloud and gang killed 8-10 of 13 dimensional seals. once all 13 seals are broken, sephiroth becomes the true god. a god who can defeat cloud. you see cloud is a special type of being. a special type of being sephiroth could never defeat. by now through kingdom hearts and FF15, sephiroth have the abilities to travel to parallel dimension…..

  19. My personalllll hopes for those rotation changes :

    – change up drk's rotation
This is long 😭 but change it up so its not just get glorified dot out fast and spam all buttons
My personal no brainer idea ive had for a year now for drk's rotation would be for it to be mainly gcd based and like edge of shadows being the only dmg ogcd it has.
Have it be a game of what skill u should use ur gcd on next. Maybe have its darkside gauge have a damn use and synergy with the blood gauge i think its called, so that its mainly just deciding what to spend resources on for the next gcd. Have living shadow not be a dot and maybe have the player's gameplay be influenced by what the living shadow does.

I got the gcd idea mainly from how with drk's current opener u cant see most drk animations play out 😭, like bruh i got the bigass sword class im thinking im gonna move very slowly but be more powerful and look cool but i just look like a kid doing some wack ass joke dance that leads to no where. But again a personal idea to change my least favorite tank rotation.

-Gnb alr listen mane u cant even fit all ur cartridges in this burst window. Its like if i didnt high end raid with this class i would be confused as i am with dragoon on how tf i fit in all this shit together and if im supposed too.

But yeah thats it. im a tank main if u didnt find out already.

  20. i really hope they remove the whole 2 minute window.. it got old real fast, having fights built around it was not fun (dead times and then suddenly all mechanics hit at the same time as the 2 minute window as some sort of "check")
