  1. Ah, so that's how they re-did the fights there. I had not been fortunate enough to get that dungeon in my roulettes. They F I N A L L Y gave Akh Morn the Stack Marker it really needed! I have forgotten several times that it was a multi-hit attack.

  2. Well, not that much to add for this vid, as it's one of those moments where story gets incredibly self-explanatory.
There is a sneak peak to how Mor Dhona looked back in the day in the early FFXIV trailer, but that's that.

One interesting moment – in 2.0 Revenant's Toll was a small camp, apparently and then it grew over patches until it became fortress all of us are witnessing now. It's one of moments I would've wanted to relive, to be honest, but it's a nice little tid-bit, nothing more.

While right now you don't know names of the First Brood, they are all present and told in the game. Ofc, not spoiling anything, but some of these names are quite… unexpected.

Dragons are fascinating characters in the FFXIV and they are pretty important in the overall story of the game.

  3. 11:29 — You know your hero well 😛

    28:55 — Yeah… I remember that moment… a certified "oh sh**"-Moment.

32:32 — It was one of the mysteries among the player base: did Hydaelyn grand her chosen the Echo and in doing so her blessing, or did we have the Echo already and got her blessing later? You'll have to wait to find out, though, I'm afraid ^^°

  4. In case you haven't seen the 1.0 trailer now is a good time.

To translate Midgardsormr to the best of my ability:
"Art thou a pawn, or master of thy fate?"
so, are you just a part of the team or just a sacrificial piece to be sent into danger?
"what hast thou wrought by thine own hands, mortal?"
How did you put yourself in this position?

  5. Oh! They also redo this dungeon. That Daddy Middy fight was used to be a chaotic one. I would say, new level 50 healers was being challenged on this dungeon (that includes me). We need to dodge to much stuff. Too many stuff going on. Glad to see the redo dungeon through you. I love daddy middy.

  6. Fun fact… before the recent changes to many early dungeons, the Midgardsormr fight used to frequently wipe entire parties. There was a certain mechanic that happened twice in the fight… a small add would come up that had to be quickly killed, which then dropped an interactable object. Midgardsormr would then unleash a huge party-wide attack, and the only way to survive it was to click that object right before the attack went off, which activated a small shield the party had to stand in, which gave you a few seconds of invulnerability. If players clicked it too early or too late, dead. And this happened twice over the course of the fight.

Yeah, wipes were very common in that fight.
