  1. I tried to do this unscripted and I didn't emphasize the points I wanted well enough. Have too many commentator friends with more experience with me x_x so yes this is version 2.0.

  2. Its one thing if they used third party tools like ACT and texture mods. They would have still gone through the actual raid experiance as created by Yoshi-P and his team.

Clearing while looking at the arena from Ultima Thule was definately not the planned experiance by the team.

Not to mention, it gave them a huge advantage over other teams that didnt use those zoom and hitbox hacks.

They did put in effort into clearing the fight and they definately have the skills to be top tier raiders.

A sprout would not have cleared even with these hacks.

Would they have gotten the clear eventually even without hacks? Probably.

Do they Deserve this world first clear though? No.

  3. as someone who isnt a full time raider and who does use these plugins/ tools.. it is pretty cheaty but its just a game who really cares, just got my p8s mount pog

  4. They went too far but as long as the ping dependent animation lock bug makes the game unplayable it's impossible to draw a clean line. What good is a clean world first if no one outside the server city can actually play properly?

  5. Apparently these jokers were the team who…''first cleared'' last Savage tier as well. I mean it is not too outlandish to assume that if they cheated on Ultimate clear race, they probably also cheated on P8S as well.

  6. Look anyone with half a brain cell would easily say this. If you plan to use a third party tool to clear as worlds first…why the fuck are you recording yourself using it…….. My brain hurts I knew someone was gonna cheat again. People / Youtubers ruining mods for the people who use them properly.

  7. Oh, great -.- This is DSR all over again… I was wondering when the first new about hacks and bots and addons would come up… I just didnt expect it so soon… There goes my faith in humanity…

And I disagree on your take with steroids: everyone who partakes in sports on a competitive level, prepares and lives his life accordingly to be successful. Every sportsmen is on even footing here – but the jerk taking steroids and whatnot is flat out cheating, every success he might have had utterly undeserved. There is a reason, doping is so heavily tracked and punished in the first place, and since its forbidden use their equivalent in this game, that team didnt win. Its not even a question: they didnt clear, they didnt win. End of discussion. If you want the admiration and accolades, play by the rules like (hopefully – I mean, who am I kidding, but still…) everybody else. And if you cant do it without forbidden tools, sorry, dude, but "get gud"! And I'm not starting a discussion here about which tools to allow and which not – thats a whole other rabbit hole…

To solve this problem, SE could make this an official race, meaning it would be monitored by officials. And only among those teams, who have entered the official race, an official winner is declared, even should another team should get the clear first – even if that team has prove that they havent used forbidden tools.

  8. In every corner of FF14 community literally nobody didnt say a bad word about Summoner in Arthars group. Everyone wishes only good for them. Like cmon, why so cheap lazy take

  9. Their clear is invalid and they should be punished as an example, end of story.
Its ironic that your metaphor with juicing in bodybuilding/sports/olympics represents the same case in ffxiv. Not all who use addons/hacks are banned, only those that are found on drug tests, aka streams, screenshots, etc…
Russia is perma banned from olympics because of doping, should we ban this raid team as well?

  10. Yea you should have done a script why rush and "clout" chase cuz this is the new trend and rush a video. I mean seems like this is ur 2nd try is all im saying. Anyways idk why the concept is hard they're bad players why? Because compared to other players they had a way easier time to figure out the fight come up with solutions in like 1 or 2 wipes saving so much time and effort. Also the biggest thing for whatever reason people act like they know everything that group did only a couple will know the full complete truth ever. You have to not only assume but invalidate all their accomplishments end of story. Bad players cheat to get ahead of others because they need it aka ur steroids. No mods should be allowed even ACT. If you where actually good in the first place you wouldn't need all these extra drugs/mods actually get gud.

  11. I agree that right now this does not affect the normal player. But even now I am seeing META start forming in EX fights. People start to think this is okay because they the pros do it then we get ad on after ad on after ad on. "Do you have the ad on for this fight?" "no, bye." I honestly think this should be made a bigger deal and they should be banned. If what the world first did not trickle its way down to EX fights np, but I love to do ex fights for fun and I don't need META talk there let alone ad ons.

  12. Never thought to hear "muscle cub" in a video about this but I'm here for it.
Clear definitely shouldn't count though, and the justification of "well everyone else did it in DSR" given on Twitter is ridiculous. That's how the 100m titles became a horrible mess in track events for decades with that shadow still looming large.

  13. Uh no….if you are talented and skilled…then you don’t need to cheat to win….unless you are lazy and think hollow victories is what you can acheive with your talent and skill…smdh

  14. YES, using body building is such a good comparison. They are still busting their asses while taking steroids but they can achieve results that they otherwise couldnt or would need far more time and dedication to without the sauce.

  15. What I find funny is that addons are extremely taboo in the JP community, while the West is far more lenient about them(obviously not to the extreme given some of the addons these raiders used). So I was pretty surprised it was a JP WF team that took it that far.

  16. I’ve seen clips from MrHappy and others with ACT callouts on mechanics in phase 3, 4, and 5. A robot voice saying “no swap” during the 4-5 transition madness and “find man” during phase 5 are the ones I’ve heard the most. Afaik this is all cheating and yet no one was calling this out even though it was days ago. Now everyone is up in arms about a zoom plugin, how is it any different?

    Example: https://youtu.be/4aLMUnzqY6I

I’m not defending it, I’m just saying some super visible people were using plugins to make it easier and yet no one seemed this upset until now.

  17. is this dude aware that performance enchancing drugs enchance performance? Typically steroids is imploid in sport to when all parties are already at the top, unless u are talking about gymbro's wanting to build muscle, which has nothing to do with competitive sport.
Comparing forbidden add-ons to illigal performance enchancing drugs leaves a very bad taste in my mouth tbh.

  18. Honetly think this isn't about the add ons or the world first clear. Its about them bringing modding to the spotlight. Its like you getting caught talking about fight club in front of a concert lol
