It is such a punishing fight. Well all savage fights are, plus you need a lot of solid dps. Plus he is a transformer.
You don't have to do it minimum ilvl. Eden Savage raids are hard enough all ready. Personally I don't know anyone who did Eden Savage with min ilvl, especially E9s – E12s.
You should start with e1-3 first if this is your first savage run. The last fight of the tier is super difficult.
Some peoople might disagree, but I think this was the easiest savage last boss that I've done (been doing savage since the 1st tier of stormblood). Wait till you get to Shiva, that one was CRAZY
I've been getting very anxious and excited about running E4S with my FC, so watching this is great for anticipation.

although I appreciate you like doing savage content the way it was meant to be.
But I suggest starting slowly on E1s first since jumping directly to the final Eden gate/verse/promise will only give you pain.

btw, a tip for your resident sch fa'af, as sch player to another.. make it a habit to cast sacred soil, it's one of the most powerful skill of sch. 🙂 no need to heal every single aoe dmg. trust in the regen 🙂
its way more fun to watch you raiding / proging! … than some other streamers.., since you are NOT being carried by multiple Ultimate cleared players, unlike some others ^^
A tip: Pay attention in normal mode. You can figure out some of the mechanics in savage when they are much quicker and usually paired with other mechanics. Evil earth being shown off in normal as an example. Don't worry it won't make it that much easier it will just help a tiny bit in clearing some things up that might of killed you. 🙂
Party consists of 1 Ultimate Legend, 1 Perfect Legend, 1 Double legend & 2 Triple Legends, one of which is a Necromancer.

E4S is a really fun fight. I farmed it with a learning group so everyone could get the mount, we needed about 3 days, 2 days for learning the fight.
so just 3 months after you play the game you enter the savage endgame fight? this is fast.
Good play overall, but you should consider precasting your ninjutsus before combat. Here you're consistently starting to cast a ninjutsu right as combat begins instead of before.

Min ilvl with no echo on current expansion savage is almost impossible to clear the last turn, even week 1 clearer has better gear than that, and the still hit enrage.
I think the better way to do it is min ilvl with echo. It puts you around the tiers BiS and would be more reasonable

Man, min ilvl no echo. you're a braver man than i am! Savage Eden is no joke, and plenty of groups in BiS with no restrictions still have major trouble getting Titan down.
The damage is insane!
Just think too E4S is considered pretty easy in comparison with E8S and E12S.

Awesome progress! I love your min ilvl content. I actually didn't know you were at shadowbringers raids yet, but since you're running them I have a few recommendations that you may have heard from others already. If you plan on doing e4s, it might be better to do e1-e3s first since the difficulty ramps up and prepares you for e4s. e1-e8s raids on minimum item level, no echo are often used for ultimate group and week 1 clear savage groups tryouts, and are just absolutely brutal. Honestly you would have a way easier time doing this current raid tier (e9s-e12s) than doing any of the old SHB fights on min ilvl, no echo. Even if you silence the echo on the current tier, it would still be significantly easier than this fight, due to people having better gear. To give you an idea of the DPS requirement for e4s, phase one needs to end at roughly 70-72% boss HP, similar with e8s if you decide to try that one too. If the DPS check is too outrageous, you can try min ilvl with echo on e4s and that is still a great accomplishment. Best of luck to you, I'd still like to see you try and tackle this boss again though, theres a lot of mechs left and an entire last phase to go 😀
you have my respect for going in any 4th floor on min ilvl, I mean that shit is no joke, it hits like a truck, and you group dps is barely enough to clear the fight (assuming your team do it perfectly) one death of a dps is basically goodbye to clear. For the Eden tier, anyone who can clear any 4th floor fights (E4, E8, E12) with min ilvl party can call themselves pro player, and mostly likely to be the top 1% of all raid players, seriously. The boss damage is no joke, the dps check is no joke.

You know what? When the timer counted down I said out loud "I predict 40 seconds until first wipe"… and it was exactly 40 seconds. xD
You got me worried there since it looked like you'd wipe a lot sooner. In our static we always make such predictions when going in blind, heh. It took us couple of months to beat Titan 2.0 savage but we are literal sunday raiders too. Every sunday, 2-3 hours.
We just got to the final raid boss's second phase last week. We'll get it down before Endwalker!
Man this gives me some bitter memories of when I tried to raid in FFXIV. I was trying out for a team for Omega savage raids and I thought I was doing really well because I was following all the mechanics, never screwed up on them, always made sure to do the mechanics I had to do, but they were going purely for how high people parsed in the tryouts so they generally went for the guys that took some damage and screwed up some mechanics (Keep in mind they weren't even doing tryouts in savage proper, they just tested us on the normal versions so you can absolutely mess up mechanics and do more damage instead). I even remember doing some other fights where I parsed much higher after I failed the tryout WHILE still doing mechanics.
I just kinda… uuugh I got so angry because all i wanted to do was try out the hard, stimulating content in FFXIV. I'm not as good at games as I was before but I still feel like I could do more. I managed to pug the first few raids before the team they made even got through the first fight xD.
I just started doing Minstrel’s Thordan fight and am pulling out my hair, lol. This is friggin’ brutal. Also a NIN main here and I’ve been loving watching your vids – I’ve been doing my rotations all wrong!
