  1. Just giving a heads up since I'm on the other side of the coin. Don't do this with consumables! I can craft a stack of 999 a day with ease and I don't spend a single gil with mats. Because of that, I can really undercut as much as I want. If you're gonna use this method, do it with items that are RNG dependent to get or craft! They are a more reliable investment.

  2. Wait, I thought the tax applies only to buyers? As in you pay more if the retainer that sold the item isn't in the zone from which you bought. So items from "local" retainers will be cheaper. But the seller's profit will be the same. The extra fees are purely on the buyer's side. Am I missing something?

I thought the tax info was so I should for instance move my retainer to Ishgard if I want to sell diadem mats because that's where the restoration crafters will be buying. Then move them to Limsa when selling ingredients. Etc.

  3. For the Tax thing: Not every week they are ones with 0% tax fee. On Cerberus the lowest you can get this week is 3% you need to pay. But still worth it to check it out every week. (The 3 main Citys was always 5% fees because it belongs to how much a city was selling from what I know)

  4. If you GRIND; Do your beast/ GC quests, then do missions(to include retainers,) to get marks. Then use those Mark's to buy the items you need to sell for SERIOUS money. If you DONT grind. Then either get into Crafting/Gathering. Or save the stuff you get(as a new player,) and sell those for a profit and that doesn't cost you. If you hope to grind those jobs( for a more stable source of money as a grinder,) then save EVERYTHING that can be used to make something else. F2P players have a disadvantage I'm this aspect as they only get access to HALF the storage space. Therefore; Your ability to "stockpile" and mass sell is significantly reduced compared to a one time paid player. Advice? Go SLOW. The game has WAY too much content now to explore, and you should enjoy all of it as it comes to you. You'll appreciate this , and your achievements, later. Trust me. Add ons will taint yoir experience. That I promise. Take it from someone who used them and regrets it.

  5. While there is plenty to take advantage of relative to the exploitable market board unless you're truly fascinated by it this is incredibly boring to do. Bots will undercut you making your life hell at the summoning bell. Do the things you like and the money will follow, supplement that by making coffee biscuits every 2 weeks or so for a quickish 2 mil and you're good to go.

  6. I'll give this a try. I haven't really made any profit from mentors' advice of buying out undercutters, because as soon as I buy them out and repost, new undercutters appear, and these bots or whatever they are, drive so many prices lower than what just vendoring to npc will pay. Materia is a big example of this. Vendor will give you like 119 to 5k gil for select materia, then you have assholes posting and severely undercutting stacks of the same materia on the MB for 1-fucking-gil each instead of just vendoring for vendor price. They obviously don't care that they completely killed the value, screwing every seller and themselves in the process with such jackass moves. 🤷‍♂️

  7. Hey, 5k subs now, your channel is growing so fast. Well, your previous crafting guides helped me to make a lot of money. I’m not mega rich yet but at least I have a few mil now. Thanks for more Gil making guides.

  8. Couple days ago I ran into you leveling my alt (skimpy Au Ra RDM) on a leveling roulette in Dusk Vigil. Was super surprised by that, and had to take a sec to make sure I was seeing the right PC with your name. Thanks for taking my friend request and hope I didn't mess you up too much at the beginning jumping around you 🙂

  9. Mmm the title seems a bit click bait-ish because its not really making money while afking since it takes a fair bit of work and research to set up but other than that it was a really well done video

  10. I’m disappointed. Your videos used to be really good but now they are clickbait and seem like a cash/attention grab. Be more honest with how much you make because “millions a day” is rare doing your strategies.
