i’ve just started savage raiding for the first time. so far i’ve joined a few pf groups, learned a few things about how to play better and i’ve been close to p5s clear ( hopefully soon). hope i can stay clear of any salt 🙂

You mean to tell me that the Party Finder is used for things other than finding dance clubs?!
Just based of the initial comment of getting through unreals AND having fun i think you are the exception to the of situation. The experience my group and I and the many people I've met is that its a toxic cesspool. Just one horror story of many is that my friend is trying to clear the current tiers final fight, and has been marked by the community in behemoth as someone to be weary of just for not having God like numbers in a prog party. Its bad dude.
It is of note that, unless its a Hardcore Static, PF is as fast as you are determined, in most cases faster then with a Static. Static offer a controlled environment and a social aspect while PF is the braindead single-minded grind.
I haven’t been able to do one savage raid yet. I don’t really know anyone to learn them with. most of the ones I see in pf are expected to know what to do. so I doubt I’ll ever get any of them. :/
Rolling high on every piece of loot after getting carried and parsing zero? Sign me in. I beat p6s twice and i still don't know how to position for Cachexia 2.
All PF groups are devour prog. p5? Yes. p6? You bet. p8? Take a guess
