Ahh so this was the crazy project you mentioned in one of your other videos. I have to agree with your fc mates, that was a crazy project!
Yeah I've made my gil from leve quests now too. I won't put too much time into them going forward outside of there intended purpose at the beginning of EW. Once I hit a certain gil amount I just thought what's the point I'm just doing this for the sake of it. I've been able to comfortably afford an FC house, a relocation upgrade, able to buy things for them and give my FC mate enough for his own personal small plot and still have literally hundreds of millions left over. I've never gone into an expansion with as much before and I doubt I'll have money issues in game for the forseeable future as just playing the game, you naturally accumulate gil overtime. (Quest rewards, Hunt Mark's, Roulette bonuses, almost everything you'd possibly do daily gives you gil.) Grats on that amazing amount of work, I only did the leve spam on one character and that almost felt too much at times.

bro im doing the same thing with leves, i also have 80 retainers on one account so i can 1) get a stack of crystals in 1hour, get all gatherable for crafting, 3) when im slowing down just the 18hrs for stacks of allagan pieces, omni crafter gather on 2nd account so i can play and craft, hunt trains are doubly effective and im thinking about having more FCs across the characters so i can do submersibles. actually searched for this video cause i was in a VC with a mate and told me he saw this in his recommends and he had to double check if it was me lmao
