Will the Garo event ever return? There was a brief mention in Live Letter 67 last year that they are currently working on it. I think it’s great to allow players to obtain the various gear sets and mounts again. If they add new gear for the new Jobs all the better. I really hope they make all the gear storable in the Armoire like practically every other collaboration event. Also here’s hoping we get Hayate and other mounts from the show.
As I say in the video though, besides the rewards. this event is not great. It’s all grinding, lots and lots of PvP. There are no intro quests, just the Disreputable Priest tucked away in a corner on the Wolve’s Den Pier, who gives a brief description on what to do, If you just happen to talk to her. I do appreciate all the work that must go into creating the gear and mounts based on the Garo properties. I just think it needs something in the way of story content.
The Garo TV shows are primarily for mature audiences, and FInal Fantasy XIV is for teens. So there might be some issues with being too direct in the cross promotion. There wasn’t even an event page on the Lodestone, at least not one I could find. What do you think?

I really hope this event comes back, not only has Garo as a series been pretty silent since Versus Road I believe(?) But around the time I tried out the game initially the event was live and I was beside myself with excitement.
But I just started my trial so there was no way I'd get anything for the event. I've had the full game for almost 2 years now and have been holding out hope since I'm a Tokusatsu fan first.
Personally I wouldn't mind if they didn't give out any new weapons since if I'm right, not every weapon in Garo has an FF counterpart- like I don't believe any Makai Knight has used a rapier before so it wouldn't make sense to get a Red Mage weapon but I could be wrong.
While it would be inclusive, the Toku fan in me would recoil. The job restrictions for the armor should be nixed but once again I don't mind since it would give me a reason to play PAL more often.
As far as new armor, there's really not much else they can do save for give us the more obscure Knights that appeared in the show/ anime. Some new armor could be Versus Road Garo and its subsequent antagonist, though i wouldn't be opposed to getting Kodama's butler uniform. So correction, there is quite a few new armors that can be yielded from a returning event.
Though a thought comes to mind, if they treat this event like Nier, have it stay a bit longer and give it a raid where we fight Messiah and Horrors instead of PvP, since ya know- nobody plays PvP.
